Democratic nominee Joe Biden announced former Calif. state prosecutor Kamala Harris as his VP pick on Tuesday.
Harris was former President Barack Obama’s first choice for president when she ran a lackluster campaign last year.
Black people despised Harris because of her tough stance on crime. As California AG she locked up more Black males than any of her predecessors.
Harris was so unpopular as a presidential candidate that many Blacks breathed a sigh of relief when she dropped out of the race.
Political analysts say Obama backed Biden because he agreed to put Harris on the ticket — to shoehorn an unpopular candidate into the White House.
The left’s support of a Biden/Harris ticket was so obvious that Politico.com let the cat out of the bag early in July by “accidentally” leaking her name as the VP nominee.
CNN floated the theory on Tuesday night by suggesting Biden may step aside to let Harris be the first female president if he wins the election in November.
CNN editor-at-large Chris Cilizza said Tuesday that the former vice president would step aside — all but conceding that Biden will not finish his presidential term.

The theory is so widespread in Washington, that some members of Congress have already begun preparations for a Harris administration – with House Speaker Nancy Pelosi as her vice president.
Biden has previously said his VP pick must be ready to be president on “day one.” No candidate is more ready to assume power on day one than Harris.
Cilizza suggested that Biden’s pick is an indication that he knows he won’t finish his first term.
Cilizza wrote: “At 55 years old, [Harris] represents a younger generation of leader — something that Biden, who will be 78 on Inauguration Day 2021, said was a major factor in his choice…”
“What Biden did is make the pick that maximized his chances of continuing to make the race a straight referendum on Trump while also selecting someone, in Harris, whose resume suggests will be ready to step in if and when Biden decides to step aside.”
Biden didn’t hide his intentions in an email to his supporters on Tuesday:
“I’ve decided that Kamala Harris is the best person to help me take this fight to Donald Trump and Mike Pence and then to lead this nation starting in January 2021.“
