Rihanna is reportedly planning to open Savage X Fenty retail stores next year. It isn’t clear if the Savage X Fenty stores will be open to small business owners who hope to open a franchise.
According to Business Insider, Christiane Pendarvis, chief marketing and design officer of Savage X Fenty, there will “absolutely” be physical stores opening in the U.S. next year.
Pendarvis said the company is meeting the demand from customers who want to walk into a brick and mortar store to try on the merchandise before buying.
“Fit and comfort are so important,” she said, adding that there are “customers who don’t feel comfortable purchasing online.”
Rihanna recently hosted Vol. 3 of the Savage X Fenty fashion show on Amazon TV.
Rihanna’s star-studded lineup included pop singer Normani, actress Thuso Mbedu, models Gigi Hadid, Irina Shayk, Jeremy Pope, Leiomy Adriana Lima, Alek Wek, pop artists Erykah Badu, Nas, Daddy Yankee, Jazmine Sullivan, Ricky Martin, and more.
“They gave me a platform and a stage to show this dynamic show that we’ve been able to put together,” the semi-retired pop singer told The Hollywood Reporter last week.
“I think the challenge every year is to make it better than the previous one and this year we went bigger, we went better, and I’m very proud of every part of the show.”
