Angela Renee White, formerly known as Blac Chyna, claims she got her doctorate degree, or PhD, which allows her to place the title of “doctor” before her name.
The former stripper, who recently reversed her plastic surgeries, announced she earned her doctorate degree from a liberal arts school in California called Sacramento Theological Seminary and Bible College.
Dr. White proudly posted a photo of her doctorate certificate on her Instagram page alongside a photo of her other 2 great accomplishments in life: her 10-year-old son King Cairo Stevenson (by rapper Tyga) and 6-year-old daughter Dream Kardashian (by homemaker Rob Kardashian).
She captioned the image:
“On January 17, 2023 I got my Doctorate of Liberal Arts from Sacramento Theological Seminary and Bible College. Doctor Angela Renee White.”
However, news outlets are questioning the school’s accreditation status.
A doctorate degree is an advanced degree that requires years of post-graduate study. It takes the average student 8 years of post-grad study to earn a PhD.
According to BuzzFeed, the evangelical school where Dr. White “studied” for her post-grad degree is accredited with Transworld Accreditation Commission, an evangelical organization, which was called a “fake college accreditation agency” by GetEducated.
According to BuzzFeed, “Its President and CEO is De’Ronald C. Bradford, who holds two doctorates from STSBC.”
Dr. White’s post-graduate degree invokes similarities to the nursing school scandal in Florida where nursing students purchased their nursing diplomas for $10,000-$15,000.
Tuition for a doctorate from Sacramento Theological Seminary and Bible College is $10,000.
