One of 2 remaining inmates who escaped from a New Orleans jail appeared in an Instagram Live video to plead his case in the court of public opinion on Sunday.

In the video, Antoine Massey explained why he escaped from the New Orleans jail along with 9 other inmates in May. “They say that I broke out. I didn’t break out. I was let out,” Massey explained.

“The reason why I left the jail is because these people were trying to give me a life sentence in both parishes for something that I did not do,” Massey said.

Massey added that his last arrest was based on a false rape report from a jealous girlfriend. He held up paperwork proving the woman was jumped by her peers, not by him. The video was deleted by Monday morning.

Massey pleaded with President Donald Trump, legal advocate Kim Kardashian and rappers Lil Wayne, NBA YoungBoy and Meek Mill to help him.

Massey, 32, has a lengthy criminal record dating back to 2009. The 4-time escapee is believed to be the mastermind behind the jailbreak.

Eight of 10 escaped inmates have been caught and transferred to other prisons. A maintenance worker at the jail was arrested for helping them escape through a hole in the wall behind a toilet.

Sterling Williams, a 33-year-old civilian plumber, was arrested after he admitted turning off the water in the cell.

According to Instagram blogger Kollege Kidd, Massey’s father was best friends with Lil Wayne’s deceased stepfather Reginald “Rabbit” McDonald. Lil Wayne, 42, is a native of New Orleans, Louisiana.

“If the individual depicted in the video is indeed Antoine Massey, we strongly urge him to come forward and turn himself in to the proper authorities,” Orleans Parish Sheriff Susan Hutson said in a statement on Monday.

Derrick Groves, 27, is the other inmate still on the loose. Over a dozen people have been arrested and charged with helping the escapees.
