“Black-ish” star Anthony Anderson addressed recently resurfaced video of his inappropriate interview with a teenaged Lindsay Lohan. The viral video showed the actor interviewing then-17-year-old actress Lindsay Lohan.
Anthony, who was 33, filled in for host Sharon Osbourne of The Sharon Osbourne Show on December 17, 2003.
After Lindsay told Anthony it’s “illegal” for older men to date minors, he told her that some men “like them young.” The audience laughed as he sipped a cup of tea. But Lindsay’s body language indicated she was uncomfortable with his line of questioning.
Anthony asked Lindsay about her home life, and she responded that she bought a house with fellow actress Raven-Symoné.
“Both of you are beautiful women. Both of you are young and have your individual styles,” Anderson said, as Lindsay told him about the different decor of their separate bedrooms.

Anthony pressed Lindsay, “What gentlemen will be at the new pad with you and Raven-Symoné?”
Lindsay replied, “No one. I don’t have a boyfriend.” Anderson then declared, “She’s single, but looking!”
Anthony said, “Some men like them young. We ain’t gonna mention no names, but I’m one of them.”
Lindsay insisted, “I’m illegal, for people that are old.”
As the show went to a commercial break, Anthony told the audience, “right now, we’re about to get our freak on.” He inched toward Lindsay on the couch and put his arms around her while she put her hands over her mouth.
Anthony’s rep issued a statement to Entertainment Weekly on his behalf.
“This interview was clearly intended as comedy. He regrets if the humor was in poor taste and maintains the utmost respect for Lindsay,” the rep wrote in an email to EW. “Any implication to the contrary is both inaccurate and potentially defamatory.”
