Lil Nas X, 26, is hospitalized after police found him roaming the streets wearing only his underwear and cowboy boots in Los Angeles.

The bizarre scene occurred on Thursday, around 4 a.m., when a motorist noticed him strutting down the middle of Ventura Boulevard.

TMZ Hip-Hop obtained video from a motorist that shows Lil Nas X pointing at the camera and mumbling something about heading to a party. He then waved the car on and continued strutting.

Sources tell TMZ that others in the Studio City area noticed Lil Nas X, and called 911, reporting his condition as a possible drug overdose.

Officers responded and found him still walking down the middle of the road. He charged at the officers and they subdued him and placed him in handcuffs. Officers then called for the paramedics to transport him to a hospital.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ, the rapper could face criminal charges after he is discharged from the hospital.

Nas is best known for his 2018 country rap single “Old Town Road,” which made him the first gay rapper to have a No. 1 single on the Billboard charts.

The official music video, featuring country star Billy Ray Cyrus, was viewed over 1.4 billion times on YouTube.

In 2021, Nas’s debut studio album, Montero, peaked at number 2 on the Billboard 200 chart and earned him a Grammy nomination.

Nas was never able to duplicate the worldwide success of “Old Town Road.”
