Tamar Braxton shelved her new EP after her publicity stunt backfired last week.

In a bizarre post on Instagram, Tamar asked fans for prayers after she allegedly had a near-death experience.

Tamar, 48, explained that she “almost died” after she was found in a pool of blood with a fractured nose, missing teeth, and loss of mobility.

But skeptical fans immediately accused Tamar of faking her injuries to promote her new EP and short film, starring Mendeecees, her ex-husband Vincent Herbert, and vlogger Funky Dineva.

Tamar and Dineva pretended to beef with each other on social media. But Tamar’s fans aren’t buying the manufactured drama.

Tamar left a comment on The Shaderoom:

“Y’all won! There’s no more album. And I’m going to my farm and u will never hear from me again. I’m sorry for everything.”

In an Instagram Live video, she claimed to be in a hospital for 5 days.

“The truth is I’ve been in the hospital and the people want me to go back to the hospital but I don’t wanna go back–,” she said before breaking down in tears and walking out of the frame.

After taking a moment to compose herself, Tamar said “It’s been very hard.” She read a fan’s comment that accused her of being a drama queen.

“I love drama?” Tamar asked the fan. “So what’s the drama? What’s the drama that I did? Somebody’s gotta tell me. What is the drama?” she repeated.

“Tell me what is the drama?” she continued. “All I know is I went to bed and I woke up and my life changed. And I probably shouldn’t have said nothing but I panicked ’cause I was scared, and I was alone and I was in pain.”

She added: “That’s it. I don’t have to lie. I have money, I have success. I don’t have to lie about anything.”

In another video, Tamar said she lost feeling in her hands. “I can’t feel. This is all tingly.”

Whether she’s really going on hiatus remains to be seen. Fans aren’t convinced that she’s really leaving social media.

One person wrote: “She’s EXHAUSTING!”

Another person wrote: “This girl is way too extra. I never cared for her after how she dog Tracy her own sister. May she rest in peace.”

A third person commented: “When will her family step up to help her seek medical attention? It’s clear she is not emotionally responsible. This is a cry for help.”

On August 28, Tamar’s cosmetic dentist, Dr. Amira O., backed up the reality star by sharing video and photos of what she claims are Tamar’s damaged teeth after her alleged fall.

According to the dentist, Tamar was “sleepwalking” when the injuries occurred. But Tamar’s fans dismissed the dentist’s claims. They have doubts that the person in the dentist’s pictures is even Tamar.
