Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill suffered a season-ending injury in Miami’s 27-21 win over the New York Jets on Monday, Sept. 29.
Hill, 31, suffered a dislocated left knee and torn ligaments, including his ACL. He underwent surgery on Tuesday, Sept. 30.
Hill dislocated his knee after he caught a 10-yard pass from quarterback Tua Tagovailoa during the third quarter. His knee twisted under him as he was tackled to the ground.

Hill has been selected to the Pro Bowl in each of his first eight seasons and won a Super Bowl with the Kansas City Chiefs.
Dr. David Chao, former NFL head team physician at Sports Injury Central, said Hill is “going to miss at least a year. It could be two. This could mean the end of his career. Let’s hope not. It certainly is career threatening. Anytime you have a major knee injury to a wide receiver, it is by definition career threatening.”
