Somehow Megan Thee Stallion’s current single “Lover Girl” topped the iTunes chart despite mixed reviews.
Megan’s fans will praise anything she releases. But even they admit “Lover Girl” is a mediocre song with an equally tired music video that shows her (what else?) twerking.
In the song “Lover Girl” Megan brags about how her NBA boyfriend, Klay Thompson, can handle her (and he’s your fantasy).

Ayy, your ni–a fantasy, my man reality
I had to lock in when I found out he could handle me
Some ni–as call me extra
My ni–a call me precious
This s–t be easy when you find somebody on your level
My ni–a say, ‘My lady,’ he never say, ‘My bitch’
Some ni–as make excuses, he make that s–t exist
Most ni–as want attention, my ni–a give me his
He know he a star, but he my biggest fan.
Both men and women trashed the song, which made Megan angry.
In a recent livestream video, Megan said her haters on X (Twitter) are “bots” that are paid to hate on her.
She told her fans not to get riled up and easily discouraged by her haters.
“Y’all know people get paid to talk crazy about me,” she claimed.

But X users accused her management (Jay-Z) of paying to influence her positive press and ratings. They argue that her music sounds the same and she hasn’t shown any growth.

One person wrote: “The large influx of positive press regarding her is what has been paid for but I genuinely think she has no idea.”
Another person wrote: “Nobody’s listening to Lover Girl, beloved.”
A third person commented: “Everybody getting these cheques except for me like cut me my cheque, why am I hating on her for free?”
