Lil Durk’s close associate THF BayZoo and a female rapper who allegedly dropped his location were fatally shot in Chicago.

BayZoo, real name Devonsha Collier, 35, was shot multiple times while buying auto parts in Chicago’s Little Village neighborhood around 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 25.

Bayzoo was with two bodyguards when two gunmen approached them and opened fire. The bodyguards, ages 39 and 42, were wounded but are expected to survive.

Shocking video of the ambush is making the rounds on social media.

Fans prayed throughout the night for Bayzoo’s recovery. He died at a hospital early Sunday. BayZoo’s puppy died at the scene.

BayZoo’s wife, Tiffany, confirmed his death on Instagram on Sunday. He died 9 years after his 14-year-old stepson, Raheem Dameron (Tiffany’s son), was fatally shot by a man the teenager tried to kill a week earlier.

On Monday, Oct. 27, aspiring rapper Arianna Bosney, also known as “G Ari,” was shot multiple times while in her car at a stop light in Chicago. The 26-year-old was killed in front of her minor son who was also in the car. The child was not physically harmed. His father is currently incarcerated for multiple murders.

G Ari was known for her regional songs, “Want All the Smoke” and “Not My Problem.”

Bloggers claim G Ari’s murder was in retaliation for dropping BayZoo’s location at the auto parts junk yard.

BayZoo and incarcerated rapper Lil Durk (Durk Banks), 33, grew up together on Chicago’s South Side. Durk is in a federal jail in California awaiting trial in January 2026.

BayZoo’s death comes eight years after he was acquitted of murder charges in the 2009 killing of 21-year-old Dominic Barnes. BayZoo was arrested in 2014 at Lil Durk’s Orland Park home in Chicago.

A Cook County jury later found BayZoo not guilty in 2017. Around that same time, late rapper King Von was acquitted on murder charges.

In 2018, King Von and BayZoo dropped the music video for their single “Beat That Body,” in which they bragged about beating their murder cases.
