NBA fans are furious with Los Angeles Clippers star James Harden for allegedly shaving points in last night’s loss to the Golden State Warriors.
The arrests last week of Miami Heat star Terry Rozier and Portland Trail Blazers coach Chauncey Billups aimed a spotlight on allegations of insider sports betting among players and coaches.
Harden’s points proposition last night was 20.5. Sports fans placed bets on Harden to score more than 20.5 points.
Harden scored 20 points at halftime and zero points in the second half. He finished with 20 points, and bettors are furious because they lost money.
Fans took to X/Twitter to vent their frustration at Harden and the NBA for letting greedy players destroy the game they love.
