Country music singer K. Michelle is going after rising R&B singer Xania Monet for stealing her voice in her music.
The reality TV star grew tired of her fans tagging her in posts about Xania. They say Xania’s voice sounds just like K. Michelle.
But others say Xania sounds more like Beyoncé and Melanie Fiona.
K. Michelle tweeted: “I got so much built-up tension. AI people using my tones of my voice and all that, now I gotta go find a lawyer. All types of stuff going on.”
Other artists lashed out at Xania Monet ‘s creator for stealing their shine without putting in hard work.

In a lengthy video posted to her Instagram page on Thursday (Nov. 6), singer Baby Tate, daughter of R&B legend Dionne Farris, called out Jones for her lack of creativity. Baby Tate said AI is “slowly contributing towards the degeneration of our environment.”
“First of all, girl, what the f–k?” Tate said in a video. “At the very least, you couldn’t have somebody make the beat? You couldn’t have somebody produce something for you? You just typing in a prompt and you letting AI make the whole f–kin song for you? Oh word, but you’re doing all the work, right? You’re not doing any work!”
She added: “All you doing is typing?! Oh, my god!”

Last week, TikTok content creator Danisha Carter (right) claimed Xania Monet (left) stole her whole face.
She also threatened to sue Xania’s creator Delisha “Nikki” Jones, a 31-year-old poet from Mississippi, who used the Suno app to create Xania’s voice.
Danisha tweeted: “called my attorney this morning [don’t worry].”
Danisha is best known for posting lifestyle content on TikTok, Instagram, and X (Twitter).
Xania is the first AI artist to debut on a Billboard airplay chart with her song “How Was I Supposed To Know?”
She is also the first AI artist to sign a $3 million record deal.
“How Was I Supposed To Know?” was viewed 5.4 million times and generated over 3,000 comments on YouTube. Her music was streamed over 17 million times in 2 months.
