Rapper Ja Rule posted video of himself laughing off an Internet rumor that he was assaulted outside the Sei Less Lounge in NYC. It’s the same lounge where NY Jets cornerback Kris Boyd was shot and wounded by an armed robber last week.

On Thursday, vlogger Tasha K claimed Ja Rule was “jumped” outside Sei Less and that it was “pretty phucking bad.”

She tweeted: “BREAKING! I Just got word that Ja Rule was Jumped TONIGHT outside of New York Restaurant Sei Less! I’m being told it was pretty phucking bad! | Story Developing.”

Another X (Twitter) user claimed “Ja Rule Got Jumped By Max B Peoples” after attending Brandy & Monica’s “The Boy Is Mine” tour with his wife, Aisha, at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn on Thursday night.

Max B (born Charley Wingate) recently got out of prison after serving 16 years for an armed robbery that resulted in a man’s death.

Ja Rule responded to the lies in a tweet on Friday.

“Tasha why you lying to these good ppl. Yes some b–h ass n–s tried to jump me, no it wasn’t at Sei less and I’m chilling smoking a joint watching SVP wit not a scratch on me.”

In a video, Ja Rule laughed and sipped from a coffee cup. He captioned the video: “Believe half of what you see and none of what you read… we good over here!!!”

In a follow-up tweet, he wrote to Tasha K, “You like getting sued I see…”
