Stefon Diggs’ personal chef accuses him of assaulting her over a month long pay dispute.
The New England Patriots wide receiver denied strangling the woman in a domestic violence incident in Massachusetts on December 2.
In a Dedham Police Department report obtained by Boston 25 News, the woman alleged Stefon choked and slapped her during an argument over her pay.
The police report, dated Dec. 16, 2025, stated the woman initially hesitated to file charges “due to his fame” but she later changed her mind.
The woman reported pain and difficulty swallowing after the alleged assault.
Stefon, 32, is charged with felony strangulation or suffocation, according to reports.
A text message contained in the complaint reveals Stefon refused to pay the woman for her business.
“You will paying me out for the season [sic] & the money you said you would pay me for my business,” she wrote in the text. She continued, “wasted my f–ing time being here because you got a f–ing circus going on. I’m out of your life!”
Stefon replied, “I won’t be paying you s–t. f–k I look like paying you and paying another xhef [sic].”
Stefon’s arraignment hearing is scheduled for January 23. His attorneys were in court on Tuesday to try and delay the arraignment date until March 2026.
His lawyers also asked a judge to keep the details of the incident sealed, Boston 25 News reported.
The Patriots released a statement on Tuesday saying the star wide receiver “categorically denies the allegations.” He vowed to cooperate with authorities and the NFL in their investigations.
“The New England Patriots are aware of the accusations that have been made regarding Stefon Diggs. Stefon has informed the organization that he categorically denies the allegations. We support Stefon. We will continue to gather information and will cooperate fully with the appropriate authorities and the NFL as necessary. Out of respect for all parties involved, and given that this is an ongoing legal matter, we will have no further comment at this time.”
The NFL also released a statement saying, “We are aware of the matter and have been in contact with the club. We have no further comment at this time.”
Stefon’s complicated personal life includes 5 children with multiple women. Allegedly, he is expecting 3 more children.
Rapper Cardi B gave birth to Stefon’s second son in November.
The couple made headlines when he spent the holidays with his other baby mamas, while she celebrated Christmas alone with her 4 children.
In a livestream video, Cardi B begged her fans to stop being mean to her. She explained she already had Stefon’s child and she needs support and love from her fans.
Cardi seemed to suggest she and Stefon are still together despite the rumors that he’s cohabitating with Instagram model Cay Benji, the mother of 2 of his 8 children.
The rapper insisted Stefon’s relationship with his other baby mamas is a “non-issue.” She complained that her fanbase, aka “support system”, have turned into a source of stress for her.
“Y’all need’a calm down. Is y’all cool?” she asked her fans in a livestream video. “Y’all been dragging me for three or four days. Like y’all been a little bit too mean!”
She begged her fans to stop hating on her. “I need my support system, my fans, to love me.”
So far, Cardi B has not commented publicly on the allegations against Stefon.
