The Chicago Sky traded Angel Reese to the Atlanta Dream after she threw her Sky teammates under the bus last year.

According to reports, the Dream got Reese and a second-round draft pick in 2028. The Sky will get the Dream’s first-round draft picks in 2027 and 2028.

That’s a lot of assets to give up for an uncoordinated basketball player who is known for stat padding.

Reese gets a lot of media attention, but she’s not an efficient scorer, shooting just 45.8% from the field and 18.2% from 3-point range.

She also allegedly fakes injuries when her team is losing.

Reese is best known for taunting ex-Iowa Hawkeyes star Caitlin Clark during the 2024 NCAA Women’s Basketball Final.

In an interview with the Chicago Tribune, Reese said, “I’m not settling for the same sh*t we did this year. We have to get good players. We have to get great players. That’s a non-negotiable for me.”

She also disparaged WNBA veteran Courtney Vandersloot, saying the 37-year-old is too old to make an impact.

Reese apologized to her Sky teammates, but the damage was already done.

Sandra Rose loyal reader SteelWarriorOne wrote in a comment:

“Could it be that Angel Reese is so delusional that she doesn’t realize she created all of the negativity around her and she genuinely believes people are hating on her??? That’s a special kind of delusional thinking and if that’s the case she should be studied by a team of doctors, seriously.”

Reese made headlines last month when she was booked to host the Barbie Dream Fest Experience in Fort Lauderdale, Fl. But only a few dozen people attended. Mattel offered refunds to disappointed attendees.

“This was the most lackluster event. We flew from [Alabama] to come to this and were so disappointed,” Meghan Vargas commented on Instagram.
