The White House sparked outrage by captioning an image of England’s King Charles and President Donald Trump with the words: “TWO KINGS.”
The post quickly racked up more than 3,000 comments and over 600,000 views on X.com. Americans are upset that the White House referred to President Trump as a “king”.

The royal trip to America will include visits to East Coast states New York and Virginia.
Monday, April 27, marked Day 1 of King Charles and Queen Camilla’s 4-day trip to the United States. The president and First Lady Melania Trump welcomed the King and Queen to the White House in Washington, D.C.
King Charles and Camilla arrived in the U.S. to celebrate the 250th Anniversary of America’s independence.
The Pomp and Circumstance included military processions on the South Lawn and a flyover by fighter jets.
First lady Melania Trump gave Queen Camila a tour of the White House and the manicured grounds. The royal visit came 2 days after a deranged lunatic opened fire on Secret Service agents at the White House Correspondents’ Association Dinner in D.C. on Saturday, April 25.
One Secret Service agent was injured and is expected to recover. Police arrested the shooter, Cole Tomas Allen, 31, of Torrance, California.
In his speech before Congress on Tuesday, King Charles commended the “truly unique” relationship between the UK and America. He called on Congress to continue defending Ukraine and to fight climate change.
Charles said, “our ties in education, research, and cultural exchange empower citizens and future leaders of both countries.”
Charles ascended to the throne upon the death of his mother, Queen Elizabeth II, in September 2022. Charles, 77, was diagnosed with prostate cancer in 2024.
After cancer treatment, King Charles resumed his royal duties which included booting his wayward brother, Andrew, out of his 30-room mansion and stripping him of his royal titles.
Andrew brought further shame upon the royal family when he was arrested in February.
King Charles said in a statement: “I have learned with the deepest concern the news about Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor and suspicion of misconduct in public office. What now follows is the full, fair and proper process by which this issue is investigated in the appropriate manner and by the appropriate authorities.”
King Charles has also banished his youngest son, Prince Harry, and his daughter-in-law, Meghan Markle, for shirking their royal duties in pursuit of Hollywood fame and riches.
