Lizzo celebrated her 38th birthday with her longtime boyfriend Myke Wright at the Chateau Marmont on Monday night, April 27. The pop singer wore a long black frock with sheer cutouts down the sides and a mink shawl.

Lizzo smiled for the cameras as she held Myke’s hand while leaving the hotel. The couple first went public in 2022. They met in 2016 while cohosting MTV’s music series “Wonderland.”

Lizzo said Myke makes her feel complete and she’s not looking for anyone else.

“You have to be like, ‘I’m living for me.’ I don’t want to be out here searching for somebody else or searching for a second half. I’m complete, and then when you are complete you attract, and I believe that when I was on my path.” She noted she was going through “some crazy stuff” when they first met.
The Grammy-winner, who was born Melissa Jefferson, lost nearly 100 pounds while taking Ozempic injections. Friends say she feels like her old self again.

Earlier in the day day, Lizzo announced her upcoming album drops this summer. The Michigan native also celebrated her upcoming album, Bitch, set for release on May 5. “Happy birthday to me!” she wrote in the caption of an Instagram post.
“Wanna get me a gift? Pre-order my album baby!!!!”
Lizzo said of the album’s title, “Reclaiming the word ‘Bitch’ is power — it’s taking a label once used to diminish women and turning it into a declaration of confidence, and unapologetic self-love. So many incredible women in music have used the word for positivity like Meredith Brooks and Missy Elliot. It was only fitting to name my album Bitch because it has become my favorite word when using it on my own terms and because I am 100% that bitch!”
She also revealed the track list for Bitch, which marks Lizzo’s first album in four years, following 2022’s Special.
Back in February, Lizzo released 2 singles — the title-track and “Still Bad” to promote her album. She performed a third unreleased song “Don’t Make Me You Love U” on Saturday Night Live.
