President Donald Trump celebrated his birthday with a massive military parade in Washington, D.C. on Saturday. Trump turned 79 on June 14. The parade marked the 250th anniversary of the U.S. Army.

The massive display of military tanks and 6,600 marching soldiers reportedly cost taxpayers $75 million.

The parade drew backlash from Democrats and others who participated in the “No Kings Day” anti-ICE protests around the country on Saturday.

Very few black people attended the “No Kings Day” protests, as black people believe it is not their hill.

However, celebrities such as The Game, Doechii, Kehlani, and Tyler The Creator lent their voices to the protests.

Celebrities and influencers are trying to convince the black community to join the protests. They hope to overcome the longstanding hostility that exists between the Hispanic and black communities.

After winning her first BET Award for Best Female Hip-Hop Artist, Doechii spoke out about the protests going on outside the venue.

“There are ruthless attacks that are creating fear and chaos in our communities in the name of law and order,” she said. “Trump is using military forces to stop a protest, and I want y’all to consider what kind of government it appears to be when every time we exercise our democratic right to protest, the military is deployed against us.”

Doechii said it is her responsibility to be the voice for the illegal immigrants.

Singer Kehlani also used her platform to bring awareness to the plight of illegals being deported back to their home countries. The “Everything” singer agreed with what Doechii had to say.

“Exactly Doechii exactly,” Kehlani wrote on Instagram.

Meanwhile, rapper Tyler The Creator wrote a short message to ICE officials on Instagram: “F*CK ICE.”

Rapper The Game, a lifelong Los Angeles resident, also took to Instagram to voice his displeasure at the ICE raids. “Ever since I could remember… it’s been black & brown in this city,” he wrote. “From the early days of my childhood til now, we’ve been side by side through it all. All of us. All the time. Not always seeing eye to eye but we’ve shared Los Angeles for a very long time.”

Trump, who is headed to Canada to attend the G7 conference on Monday, responded to the nationwide “No Kings Day” anti-ICE protests.

Trump told a reporter, “I don’t feel like a king. I have to go through hell to get stuff approved… No no, we’re not a king, we’re not a king at all.”

Incarcerated singer/songwriter R. Kelly has asked President Donald Trump for clemency. In an emergency motion reviewed by Entertainment Weekly, the “I Believe I Can Fly” singer, real name Robert Kelly, requested to be moved to home detention because he fears for his life in prison.

Kelly, 58, claims prison officials arranged to have him killed by another inmate. Kelly’s legal team is in talks with Trump’s Pardon Czar Alice Marie Johnson, who recently helped secure the release of reality stars Todd and Julie Chrisley from federal prisons.

Kelly’s attorneys are confident that he will be released from prison in the near future. Ms. Johnson is reportedly a fan of R. Kelly’s music.

“We are in open discussions with people close to President Trump. And those discussions have expanded and intensified since we filed our motion,” Kelly’s attorney Beau B. Brindley told PEOPLE. “We believe that President Trump is the only person with the courage to help us. And our need only grows stronger by the day.”

Kelly is currently serving a 30-year sentence following his conviction on federal charges including racketeering and sex trafficking.

Brindley filed the emergency motion after inmate, Mikeal Glenn Stine, alleged that he was asked to kill Kelly by three high-ranking Bureau of Prisons officials.

Stine claims to be a longtime member of the Aryan Brotherhood. He said his title as commissioner of the Aryan Brotherhood gave him the “power to order beatings, stabbings and executions that were carried out by other members of the gang.”

Happy Father’s Day to all the real men who provide for their children. We also celebrate men who are father figures to their stepkids and children from other fathers.

While they can’t replace mother’s, experts say fathers are more important to a child’s development.

A great father is one who prioritizes his time, attention and love for his children. A great father teaches children to learn from his mistakes, but most importantly, a father shows his kids that they are not mistakes.

A great father is a role model and an example for his child to follow. He strikes a balance between discipline and encouragement.

If you are a successful businesswoman, your father probably had a lot to do with the direction your life has taken.

According to childcare experts, a good father is the key to a child’s success as an adult.

Research also shows a strong father-daughter bond may play an important role in the kind of woman she grows up to be.

Love her or hate her, Caitlin Clark is the reason fans tuned in to watch a WNBA game for the first time ever in 2024. Clark made a significant impact on the league as WNBA Rookie of the Year.

The WNBA’s national TV ratings soared in 2024. A record 41 Indiana Fever games will be nationally televised this season.

Clark, 23, has been cleared to play on Saturday, June 14, after missing 5 games due to a quadriceps injury. Over 1 million TV viewers are expected to watch the Fever (4-5) take on the undefeated Liberty (9-0) at home on Saturday.

Ironically, the All-Star guard was injured during a game against the defending champions on May 24.

The referees looked the other way while Liberty guard Natasha Cloud mauled Clark like a pitbull. Cloud fouled Clark multiple times in the game’s final seconds. The Fever lost to the Liberty 90-88.

ESPN predicts the Fever will lose again to the stacked Liberty on Saturday. But Caitlin Clark in a Fever uniform is TV ratings gold.

According to Nielsen ratings, TV viewership plunged 55% during the nearly 3 weeks that Clark was sidelined in street clothes.

Indiana’s TV ratings dropped a whopping 53% during Clark’s absence. The Fever averaged 1.8 million viewers before Clark was injured.

The WNBA’s ratings plunge was compared to Michael Jordan retiring from the NBA.

Fox Sports analyst Colin Cowherd said, “Be nice, WNBA players, to the lady that currently has her leg up, because she is giving the league a leg up. Fifty-five percent. That’s Jordan leaving the NBA. That’s what it is. When Jordan left, they lost 50% of their numbers.”

“Fearless” podcast host Jason Whitlock called WNBA Commissioner Cathy Engelbert a clown for saying she “put all these pieces in place” for the league to experience growth in 2024.

“Caitlin Clark disappears with a quad injury and the entire league craters ratings. I think this debate is over,” Whitlock said.

More than a decade after Joseph made headlines as Arnold’s love child, his half-siblings still refuse to speak to him or forgive him for being born.

Joseph was 13 years old in 2011 when the world learned Arnold cheated on his wife with his housekeeper.

Maria and Mildred were both pregnant at the same time. Maria delivered Arnold’s son, Patrick, five days before Mildred gave birth to Joseph.

Mildred continued to work for the Schwarzeneggers cleaning their home after her son was born. She even brought the toddler to Arnold and Maria’s house to play with young Patrick.

TMZ broke the news in 2011 – weeks after Maria confronted Arnold and asked him if he was Joseph’s father.

Arnold confirmed that he was Joseph’s biological father and Maria filed for divorce. Their children moved in with Maria. Arnold paid Maria child support until their youngest son, Patrick, turned 18.

A former assistant to Sean “Puffy” Combs says the disgraced music mogul drank honey to boost his libido during his infamous ‘freak-offs.”

Jonathan Perez took the witness stand on Friday, June 13. Perez, who worked for Combs from December 2021 until his arrest in September, said Combs drank honey like a hungry bear.

Honey is a natural alternative to energy drinks, which contain high amounts of caffein. Honey provides a fast boost of energy and contains simple sugar which is pre-digested.

Perez described setting up hotel rooms for what he and Combs called “king nights” – all male freak-offs.

Perez said he made sure Combs had everything he needed for his marathon orgies, TMZ reported.

Items in the room included multiple jars of honey, Honey Nut Cheerios, liquor, red lights, condoms, baby oil and other lubricants.

Perez said some of the items he picked up at adult stores included red high heels and outfits.

He used either used company cards or cash that he got from Combs’ security to make the purchases.

After the marathon sessions ended, the hotel suites were filled with dirty linens, soiled towels, empty condom wrappers, dirty dishes, and empty bottles of liquor and baby oil.

Perez said he made sure nothing incriminating was left behind in the room. The hotel’s housekeepers were only allowed to enter the room after Combs and his guests had checked out.

Alicia Keys made an appearance on Good Morning America‘s final show from the Times Square studios in New York City on Friday, June 13. The show’s set will move to the Walt Disney Company’s New York City headquarters at 7 Hudson Square.

GMA will begin broadcasting from its new home on June 16. The move was a cost-cutting measure for the network that made its home in Times Square for 26 years. Office rent in Times Square has become too expensive.

To mark the final GMA show, the team booked pop singer Alicia Keys and a performance from the cast of her Broadway show Hell’s Kitchen.

“It’s a celebration,” Alicia said about the opportunity to appear on the final show in Times Square. The cast of Hell’s Kitchen belted out a medley of classic hits “Girl on Fire” and “No One,” delivering vocals and emotions.

Alicia is seen on the set with GMA co-hosts Michael Strahan and Robin Roberts.

Robin remembered her first day on the set of GMA in Times Square. “I just remember thinking, I’m a little girl from Mississippi, and I’m working in Times Square. It’s just so majestic,” she said.

Robin continued: “I just remember the energy and looking around going, ‘This is our home.’ All these years later it still feels that way.”

The View, The Tamron Hall Show and Live with Kelly and Mark also made the move to new locations.

The Tamron Hall Show moved to a new location in January 2025, and Live with Kelly and Mark followed in April.

Rapper Cardi B warned her fans not to get butt injections after she had 95% of her butt injections removed in 2022.

In a series of Instagram posts, Cardi warned other women not to make the same mistakes she made. She said butt injections were “really crazy.”

“I all the way support you if you want to do alterations to your body, if you love your body,” she told her fans. “I’m all the way with it. But do not get a– shots!”

Cardi said a safer alternative was to transfer fat from another part of the body to the buttocks in a procedure called a Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL). But in 2024, she complained that the BBL procedure strained her relationship with her now-estranged husband, Offset.

After all that, Cardi B still went under the knife again to get another BBL procedure.

The mom-of-3 showed off her new BBL after attending the ASCAP Awards in Los Angeles on Sunday. Video of her walking to an Uber set social media on fire.

One X user wrote: “Cardi really did all the surgeries to keep Offset happy and he still cheated.” She added: “Her natural body was [fire emoji], the bbl was so unnecessary, ruined it.”

Another user wrote: “She looks crazy sorry it’s completely a chop for me. Body don’t hit face not hitting. Like what’s good about it?”

A third person wrote: “wtf @iamcardib girl dissolve some of that. It looks extraterrestrial.”

Country music fans were shocked when pop singer Beyoncé took home the Best Country Album GRAMMY award for her album Cowboy Carter in February.

Fans were disappointed that Beyoncé, 43, won the Best Country Album trophy over traditional country music artists.

Bey’s huge Grammy win was a shocker because Cowboy Carter was snubbed at the 2024 Country Music Awards.

Country music singer Oliver Anthony called Beyoncé’s Cowboy Carter album “complete trash.”

Now the Recording Academy has changed the rules for 2026 to ensure that an artist from another genre will never win the traditional Best Country Album Award again.

According to reports, the category for Best Country Album will be split into Best Contemporary Country Album and Best Traditional Country Album.

MEGA/WENN

The rule change means Beyoncé will never win another Grammy in the traditional country music category.

Recording Academy CEO Harvey Mason Jr. explained why he and the other members split the country music category.

“It’s so important that our rules and guidelines are fair and equitable for musicians of all crafts and varying expertise, and that the Grammy Awards truly reflect and honor the full spectrum of music creators,” Mason Jr. told Billboard magazine.

Kevin Mazur/WireImage for Parkwood

Mason Jr. said the Traditional Country Album category will include “country recordings that adhere to the more traditional sound structures of the country genre.”

He added, “There are obviously nuances between the different genres. Those experts in those genres understand those nuances, and I’m quite certain now you’re going to see the right people going into Americana versus folk versus traditional country.”

He continued, “[The change] gives us an opportunity to put things in more specific categories.”

Beyoncé is currently on tour in Europe to support her Cowboy Carter album.

Former NFL wide receiver Antonio Brown is wanted on an attempted murder charge in Florida. Miami authorities have a warrant for Brown’s arrest for firing a weapon during a boxing incident in Little Haiti, Florida.

According to the warrant, an off-duty officer working security at the boxing event told police he saw Brown involved in a physical altercation with a man on May 16.

Witnesses say Brown fired a handgun during the altercation. Brown did not have a weapon on him when he was patted down after the fight, but police did find 2 empty shell casings and an empty gun holster on him.

In a post on X (Twitter) the next day, Brown claimed he was “jumped” by people trying to steal his jewelry and he had to defend himself. Brown said said he was being detained by police and that he was not arrested. He returned to the boxing event after being released by police.

The arrest warrant, which was signed by a judge on Wednesday, lists attempted murder with a firearm. Brown is required to post a $10,000 bond and remain under house arrest pending trial.

Brown has faced criminal charges before. In June 2020, he pleaded no contest in Florida to burglary and battery charges.

Former singer Sean Kingston listed Brown’s Miami area home as his “work place” following his release from the Miami Federal Detention Center earlier this year.

Kingston is now on house arrest at his sister’s home. An arrest warrant has been issued for his sister’s arrest on shoplifting charges.

Brown, 36, last played for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2021. He announced his retirement from the NFL 3 times – once in 2023 and twice in 2024.
