Michelle Trachtenberg’s grieving fans dragged Instagram followers who expressed concern for her health a year before she died.

The former child star, best known for her roles in “Buffy the Vampire Slayer,” and “Gossip Girl,” was found dead in her Midtown Manhattan apartment on Wednesday morning.

Trachtenberg’s mother, Lana Trachtenberg, discovered her body just before 8 a.m.. She called 911 and EMS.

The 39-year-old actress had undergone a liver transplant in the months leading up to her untimely death on Feb. 26.

However, more than a year before her death, Trachtenberg’s fans expressed concern for her health.

Trachtenberg apparently missed the signs that she was in liver failure until after fans began asking if she was sick.

Trachtenberg clapped back at fans who noticed her face looked gaunt and her eyes were tinged yellow.

One IG user wrote in the comments section, “Michelle u look sick. R u ok?”

“Explain to me how I look sick. Did you lose a calendar and not realize I’m not 14. I’m 38. How sad for you to leave such a comment,” the actress responded.

Trachtenberg’s comment is a clue that she may not have been aware she was in liver failure more than a year before she passed.

She’d recently undergone a liver transplant in the months leading up to her death.

Her fans lashed out at followers who trolled the actress in the comments.

One fan wrote, “The internet strikes again… when will they learn to stop speaking on people’s looks unprovoked.”

Several users compared Trachtenberg to the late “Black Panther” star Chadwick Boseman, who was similarly harassed before he died from colon cancer.

One person wrote, “They did the same thing with Chadwick Boseman.”

Alcoholism is a leading cause of liver disease worldwide. Hepatitis, obesity, and diabetes can also lead to liver disease (Cirrhosis).

It’s very rare for doctors to place an alcoholic on a transplant waiting list when there are hundreds of non-alcoholic patients waiting for organs.

Trachtenberg’s celebrity status may be the reason she was moved to the top of the transplant waiting list.

The source added that they “are doing great and very much in love” and considering taking the next step in their relationship: marriage.

“Marriage is a big step, so they’re cautious and careful because they got hurt the last time,” the source explained.

“It’s more important for them to just be in love, live together, travel and enjoy each other.”

Fiebig shared this selfie of her and Shue together 6 years before they started dating.

The source added that Shue and Fiebig are not bitter, they’ve moved on. Their relationship began innocently after consoling each other.

“They’re not heartbroken and sad,” the insider added. “Everyone has moved on. It’s not revenge. It’s real.”

Robach was fired from ABC after paparazzi photos surfaced online that showed her holding hands with her “Good Morning America” co-host T.J. Holmes.

Holmes was let go after it was revealed he allegedly engaged in raunchy sex acts with other female coworkers on his office desk.

The scandal triggered a severe backlash from ABC viewers, which resulted in the termination of Kimberly Godwin, the first Black woman and the first Black person to be president of a major news network.

Menendez brothers’ family frustrated over DA’s decision to deny killer siblings new trial: ‘Very disparaging’

The family of incarcerated brothers Lyle and Erik Menendez expressed frustration after Los Angeles District Attorney Nathan Hochman denied the killer siblings a new trial.

The family members said they were hurt and disappointed by the D.A.’s decision.

Lyle and Erik were sentenced to life in prison without parole for gunning down their wealthy parents, music executive José Menendez and Mary Louise “Kitty” Menendez in their Beverly Hills mansion in 1989.

The Menendez brothers claimed they killed their parents after suffering years of sex abuse by their father.

On February 21, Hochman recommended that the parole board deny a new trial for the brothers who have spent 3 decades behind bars.

Los Angeles Times.

The basis for a new trial was the discovery of a note Erik (left) wrote in 1988 describing the abuse he allegedly suffered at the hands of his father.

However, Hochman argued that the note and other corroborating evidence were too weak to justify a new trial.

“Very honestly, what we heard from the L.A. DA’s office the other day felt very disparaging,” Tamara Goodell, the brothers’ cousin, said on Thursday. “It felt like a continuation of the narrative from 1989 and very honestly, it was very frustrating.”

Anna Maria Baralt, José’s niece, said D.A. Hochman’s decision is harmful to other victims of sexual abuse.

“Today we understand that trauma re-wires the brain and shapes a person’s actions and decisions in ways that were not fully appreciated decades ago,” Baralt said.

The family members were relieved last week when California Gov. Gavin Newsom ordered the state parole board to conduct a “risk assessment” of the pair.

The Menendez family said they gasped with relief upon hearing the “great” news Wednesday. They are confident the parole board will determine the brothers are not a risk to public safety and release them.

“We are incredibly grateful that Gov. Newsom is paying attention to this case,” Baralt said.

“This, for our family, is a huge sigh of relief that someone in a seat of power is paying attention to what we have seen up close since Erik and Lyle have been incarcerated.”

Fox Sports’s FS1 network removed sports journalist Joy Taylor from her show after she posted a questionable photo that showed her eating a corn on the cob.

Taylor, 38, was noticeably missing from her FS1 show “Speak” for 3 consecutive days. Sources say that Taylor was removed from “Speak” for posting a vulgar photo on social media.

In the photo, Taylor bites into a corn on the cob which she holds in a sexually suggestive manner.

Taylor began hosting “Speak” in September 2022.

Last month, she was named in a lawsuit filed by a former hairstylist who accused Skip Bayless and Taylor of creating a hostile work environment at Fox Sports.

Taylor was named as a defendant in a 42-page lawsuit filed by former FOX Sports hairstylist Noushin Faraji.

According to Faraji, Taylor mocked her when she complained about Bayless attempting to sleep with her.

Gabrielle Union told the “The View” co-hosts that she has to protect her transgender stepchild Zaya Wade’s “freedom and humanity.”

Zaya, 17, who identifies as the female gender, has become an inspiration to others in the LGBTQ+ community.

Gabrielle, 52, gushed over Zaya on during an appearance on “The View” on Thursday, Feb. 27. She said that there are so many things that Zaya does that makes her and her husband, Dwyane Wade, “so proud.”

“At her school, her teachers write about what they feel about each student. And every time her teachers write about her, they’re like, ‘I’m actually crying as I’m writing this. You are such a pleasure in class. You add so much to the school community,'” she said. “It’s that that makes us proud.”

Gabrielle said Zaya will be going off to college soon to study astrobiology, which is the scientific study of evolution and the future of life in the universe.

“Who she is is amazing but it’s because we love her so much and we protect her freedom and her humanity and her rights that she’s allowed to blossom,” the proud stepmom said. “When we get compliments on who she is and who she stands for and who she represents, it’s not just the LGBTQIA community. Elderly people come up to me [and say], ‘I wish my parents gave me the freedom to live my full truth and to reach my full potential and I’m so glad that she’s doing this at such a young age.'”

Gabrielle added, “She’s inspiring so many people to live their complete truth and we are more than proud.”

Gabrielle also spoke out for the fist time about husband Dwyane Wade’s kidney cancer diagnosis. In an episode of his podcast on Jan. 30, Dwyane announced that he had 40% of his right kidney removed after a tumor was found during a routine checkup.

On Feb. 26. Gabrielle appeared on “Today” and shared how Dwyane’s “traumatic” diagnosis affected their family.

“It was year nine of our marriage, and he’s talked about it,” Gabrielle said. “Year nine was very hard. When he mentioned year nine being hard, he didn’t reveal his cancer diagnosis and his own cancer journey.”

She added: “But you also don’t understand the journey and the toll it takes on your marriage, on your family, on your kids. He was a little more hesitant to take us on that journey of healing.”

“That level of vulnerability, to go through removal of a good chunk of his kidney and the healing that involved, he needed us to be OK with his vulnerability. But more than that, he needed to be OK with his vulnerability,” she said. “It was a challenge to give grace and receive it.”

A Detroit mother whose 2 children froze to death while sleeping in a van received a new home, courtesy of the Detroit Rescue Mission.

Tateona Williams and her five children were living in a van after they were evicted from their apartment. Williams parked the van on the ninth floor of Hollywood Casino’s parking garage on Feb. 9.

The temperature dipped below 12-degrees and the van stopped running when it ran out of gas.

Two adults and five children, ranging in age from 2 to 13, were in the van, Detroit Police Chief Todd Bettison said.

Williams discovered her children, Amillah Currie, 2, and Darnell Currie, 9, had stopped breathing and she called either a friend or a relative for help, police said.

Both children were pronounced dead at a hospital on Feb. 10.

Detroit Rescue Mission Ministries, which helps find housing for homeless residents, gifted the home to Williams.

The organization’s CEO and president, Chad Audi, said the home was freshly painted, and Williams received new furniture and appliances in the home for her and her remaining children.

“We didn’t just offer her a house — we provided her with hope. We took her to her new home, where she and her children could finally breathe, sleep, and heal without fear,” Audi said in a statement.

Gayle King announced she will travel to space on board Jeff Bezos’ Blue Origin NS-31 rocket.

Gayle, 70, will join an all-women crew of space tourists, including pop singer Katy Perry, Bezos’ fiancee Lauren Sánchez, former NASA rocket scientist Aisha Bowe, civil rights activist Amanda Nguyen and film producer Kerianne Flynn.

King announced the space mission on “CBS Mornings” on Thursday, Feb. 27.

“I’m so afraid, but I’m also so excited about it. I don’t know how to explain being terrified and excited at the same time. It’s like how I felt about to deliver a baby,” she said.

King has previously admitted she is “terrified” of heights. Multiple X users are betting she backs out at the last minute.

The cost for a seat on Blue Origin is an eye-watering $30 million per ticket. But celebrities fly for free, courtesy of Bezos.

On July 20, 2021, Blue Origin’s New Shepard performed its first space mission carrying tourists into space.

The flight lasted approximately 11 minutes from takeoff to landing. The tourists crossed the Kármán line (about 62 miles above sea level) before returning to Earth.

The passengers were Jeff Bezos, his brother Mark Bezos, Wally Funk, and Oliver Daemen. An auction winner who paid $28 million (later revealed to have been Justin Sun) dropped out due to a scheduling conflict.

The next Blue Origin launch, with Gayle King on board, is set for sometime in April.

A Santa Fe detective has called the deaths of Gene Hackman, his wife Betsy Arakawa and their dog “suspicious,” according to a new TMZ report.

Police and Hackman’s own daughter originally suspected a carbon monoxide leak was to blame for their deaths. But police say there is no sign of a gas leak in the Santa Fe, New Mexico home.

Hackman’s body was reportedly found in a different room of the residence than where Arakawa’s body was found.

Arakawa was found lying on her side in a bathroom, with a space heater near her body, ABC News reports. A deceased German Shepherd was found about 10-15 feet from Arakawa, while two other dogs were found alive on the property.

The detective wrote in an affidavit, that he believed the deaths deserved a thorough investigation because “the reporting party” found the couple’s front door open and unsecured.

The affidavit said there were “no obvious signs of a gas leak,” in the house.

The bodies of Hackman, Arakawa and their dog were discovered on Wednesday afternoon when police conducted a welfare check. Hackman and Arakawa had been dead for more than a day when they were found.

The detective also noted a pill bottle left open with pills scattered near Arakawa’s body.

Arakawa’s body was in an advanced state of decomposition “with bloating in her face and mummification in her hands and feet.”

Meanwhile, Hackman was “fully clothed” with his sunglasses found near his body, indicating that he may have fallen, TMZ reported.

Hackman’s private hideaway consisted of 2 properties on 12 acres in Santa Fe. The homes were situated on a hilltop with a 360-degree view that stretches as far as the Colorado mountains.

Social media influencer Zaya Wade says potential partners are “afraid” to meet dad Dwyane Wade.

“The people I’ve dated have all been afraid of him in the first interaction,” Zaya, 17, told Seventeen magazine in an interview published Monday, February 24.

Zaya said Dwyane can be intimidating. “He’s gigantic and he has this deep, booming voice.”

Wade has previously expressed concern about the number of partners Zaya has dated. But Zaya said his scary “facade only lasts so long and you actually see his real personality.”

The retired NBA star, 43, shares Zaya, as well as 23-year-old son Zaire, with ex-wife Siohvaughn Funches. He’s also a father to son Xavier by his ex Aja Metoyer. Wade and wife Gabrielle Union share daughter Kaavia James, 6.

Zaya is trying to focus on studies in high school, but it’s difficult to dive into the dating pool and stay focused on schoolwork.

Fortunately, Dwyane and Union, 52, are “really cool about it,” Zaya said.

“Me and my stepmom love to dish the dirt and tap into the high school gossip,” Zaya added. “She gets excited for me when I’m like, ‘Oh, I like this person.'”

But Dwyane “tries to scare any person I have interest in,” says Zaya, who appreciates that Dwyane and Gabrielle want to meet every boyfriend.

“My dad, at the end of the day, he is a man. He’s just always going to give man and honestly, as an entire gender, they embarrass me,” Zaya joked. “So when my dad shows up to a party and he’s wearing a suit and he has no undershirt on, it’s like, ‘What are you doing?’ And when he posts on his Instagram and he’s fully shirtless, I’m like, ‘No. No. No. You have children on this app.'”

All in all, Zaya is grateful for Dwyane and Gabrielle’s support.

“Honestly, him being raised in a traditional Black household in Chicago… the culture there isn’t very queer-friendly,” Zaya said. “I hope that it will continue to inspire people to allow themselves to learn and understand queerness before bashing it.”

Retired boxer Floyd Mayweather Jr. caused outrage when he declared President Donald Trump is “the best president we’ve ever had.”

Mayweather made the statement during an appearance on Fox Business on Wednesday, Feb. 26.

“We had Trump before, we didn’t appreciate him. I think Trump is a great president, actually he’s the best president in my eyes, he’s the best president we’ve ever had. Great business man and that’s what it’s about,” Mayweather said.

“Trump has done an amazing job and a lot of people around America are upset,” he added. “But no matter who goes into the White House, we’re always upset. And I think Trump is the man for the job, he’s the best president in my eyes.”

Mayweather previously made it clear that he isn’t a Democrat or a Republican. But he attended Trump’s first Inauguration in 2017, and he visited Trump in the White House.

Mayweather’s comments didn’t sit well with his fans who criticized the boxing legend for supporting Trump.

One X user wrote: “Ask Floyd why is trump the best president we ever had? He couldn’t tell you one fact!”

A second tweeted: “It’s always rich people saying sh*t like this.”

A third person wrote: “How much they paying you?”

Someone else commented: “Being a Hall of famer doesn’t make him an expert on matters of governance obviously.”
