At least 4 people were killed and 30 others injured in a mass shooting at Apalachee High School in Winder, Georgia.

A suspect is in custody following the mass shooting around 9:30 a.m. EST on Wednesday, Sept. 4.

Local and state law enforcement responded quickly to the scene. The high school was cleared and the students assembled on the football field to wait for their parents to pick them up.

A medical flight chopper airlifted 2 of the wounded to area hospitals. Others were transported to hospitals in ambulances and private vehicles.

The FBI has joined the investigation into the shooting.

ABC News aired a phone call from a grandmother who said teachers should be armed with guns to protect the students.

Update: Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis and former Trump prosecutor Nathan Wade rushed to the scene after her pregnant daughter was arrested.

Kinaya Willis, 25, was arrested in Tyrone, Georgia on August 24 for speeding and driving on a suspended/revoked license.

Body cam video shows Willis and Wade arriving to pick up Kinaya’s car after she was transported to the Tyrone, Georgia jail.

Willis had previously stated under oath that she and Wade were no longer a romantic couple. Willis claimed in open court that their relationship ended in August 2023.

According to a traffic citation obtained by DailyMail.com, Kinaya was pulled over for speeding while on her cell phone. It is illegal to use a cell phone while operating a vehicle on Georgia roads or highways.

Kinaya reportedly told police she was on the phone due to her mother calling her about her pregnancy.

The Tyrone police officer ran a license check and discovered Kinaya was driving on a revoked license. Kinaya’s license was revoked in May for speeding while driving on a suspended license.

Kinaya claimed she was unaware that her driver’s license was suspended or revoked.

She was then searched for weapons and handcuffed before being read her rights. Kinaya was charged with driving with a revoked and suspended license.

The traffic citation listed Kinaya as 5-ft-3 and 100 pounds — seriously underweight for a pregnant woman.

Kinaya was released from jail on a $1,200 bond.

Her next court date is October 24, according to DailyMail.com.

The punishment for driving on a suspended license in Georgia is 2 days in jail, a fine of $500, and a 6 month extension of the suspension.

The punishment for driving on a revoked license is 10 days in jail and a fine of between $1,000 and $2,500.

Fani Willis is best known for her overly aggressive prosecution of former President Donald Trump and 18 others in 2023.

Her RICO case against Trump stalled when it was determined that she was sleeping with the lead prosecutor Nathan Wade.

Wade resigned from the case on March 15, 2024.

Actress Glenn Close says she was warned not to work with director Lee Daniels on his Netflix movie “The Deliverance.”

The 77-year-old Grammy nominee worked with the controversial director for the first time on the horror movie.

In an interview with Radio Andy, Close said colleagues warned her not to work with Daniels because “he’s crazy.”

But she said that only pushed her to want to work with him more.

“For me, that’s a compliment,” Close said. “A lot of times when people in this business say someone’s crazy it means they don’t suffer fools,” and they don’t “always go along with the crowd.”

Close added, “It was one of the most inclusive, creative, challenging, fun experiences of my career.”

“The Deliverance” also stars Mo’Nique, Andra Day, Aunjanue Ellis-Taylor, Omar Epps and more. The movie is based on real-life events that occurred in Gary, Indiana.

The plot centers around Latoya Ammons and her three children who allegedly experienced paranormal activity in their “haunted” house.

Daniels sparked controversy on social media when he claimed Close’s character, Alberta, was “part of the fabric of our community.”

In a tweet on August 27, Daniels wrote: “Every Black person knows an Alberta. She’s part of the fabric of our community, but we’ve never seen her on screen before. Thank you Glenn for bringing her magnificently to life.”

The backlash was swift, as some of Daniels’ followers objected to his choice of words to describe Alberta.

One person wrote on a manosphere board: “That Glenn Close character was super out of place…”

Another male wrote: “Throw an old white lady on screen popping her gum, rolling her neck, braiding hair and cooking grits and negroes acting like this sh*t gave them life and reparations. The “culture” is pathetic and Lee Daniels probably got a damn fetish for interracial s3x because the woman Glen Close is playing is black in real life.”

Federal investigators served a subpoena on a Miami hotel that was central to Sean “Puffy” Combs’ alleged sex trafficking ring.

According to TMZ, federal prosecutors subpoenaed a specific hotel in Miami as they investigate allegations involving 50 Cent’s baby mama, Daphne Joy and rapper Yung Miami.

It was alleged that the two women provided intimate services to Combs’ high roller friends in exchange for money and other favors from Combs.

According to TMZ, the subpoena specifies the period from January 1, 2008, to the present. The documents requested check-in and check-out dates of specific individuals, room numbers, guest requests, billing information, etc.

Federal prosecutors also asked for email and physical addresses, phone numbers, and forms of payments, such as cash or credit cards.

If certain guests used electronic devices (laptops, phones, etc) to log into the hotel’s wifi system, the feds wanted the IP addresses of those devices.

Combs’ drama began when his ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura sued him for sexual battery and other allegations. He quickly settled the lawsuit within 24 hours for an undetermined amount in November 2023.

Combs, 54, faces a plethora of lawsuits from women and one man alleging sexual abuse and harassment.

Combs recently filed a motion to dismiss a “lurid” $30 million lawsuit filed by his former music producer Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones.

Jones, who accused Combs of grooming him, says he is broke and in hiding after filing the lawsuit in February.

Jones told Rolling Stone that he is in fear of his life, but he will continue “standing up for justice.”

“He’s a monster,” Jones told Rolling Stone.

Cardi B is slowly alienating her fan base who helped her grow from a one-hit wonder to a global superstar.

The mother-of-three responded to a fan on X.com who questioned why the word “Pedophile” is painted on a wall in her maternity shoot.

In a post on X.com, Cardi B insisted the photographer picked “a random street” for her maternity shoot.

Cardi B wrote: “First of all we literally picked a random street because paparazzi was hounding us everywhere.. this was supposed to be my original first picture and we had to edit the photos in minutes because the shoot got leaked.

She continued: “Didn’t even have time to go over every detail because people were busy trying to expose my pregnancy as “aha” moment… Second I’m ALWAYS with the shits but I’m not using MY MATERNITY shoot to be funny. Are you dumb??”

It seems strange that the photographer didn’t “go over every detail” of the photo shoot, since that’s what they’re paid to do.

Photographers literally do go over every detail of a photo shoot before the first photo is taken.

Some fans claim Cardi B knew the word was on the wall. They say the word was aimed at rapper Nicki Minaj’s husband Kenny Petty, a registered sex offender.

Cardi B is pregnant with her and rapper Offset’s third child. They are currently going through a divorce.

Venezuelan gang members take over building in Chicago

A 911 audio clip has gone viral on social media, alleging that 32 members of a Venezuelan gang took over an apartment building in Chicago.

The caller said 32 Venezuelans are trespassing in the building. They are showing guns in the courtyard and they are on motorcycles.

Chicago police arrived about an hour later, but the gang had already dispersed.

The news comes after reports that a Venezuelan gang took over 3 apartment complexes in Aurora, Colorado. The gangs kicked out the Black residents and began charging rent.

Frightened Aurora residents called 911 but were told there was nothing they could do.

The mayor and governor denied reports that a gang of illegal aliens had taken over the buildings. Then a former resident shared surveillance video of heavily armed men entering an apartment across the hall from her former apartment.

In the face of video evidence Democrat lawmakers in Aurora couldn’t continue to deny the reports.

Aurora Mayor Mike Coffman admitted there was a gang takeover in 2 out of 3 buildings. He said local and federal law enforcement agencies were working together to clear the buildings.

But Colorado’s Democrat Governor Jared Polis dismissed the video as a figment of imagination. Gov. Polis, who is openly gay, continues to deny there ever was a gang problem at the complexes.

A Chicago resident said Venezuelan migrants are flocking to Chicago for $15,000 in food stamps, 6 months free rent and debit cards loaded with $5,000 cash.

Videos are going viral showing Black gang members in Chicago preparing to go to war with the Venezuelans over their turf.

One man said, “This ain’t Colorado… We got switches (automatic machine guns).”

Sheryl Swoopes Removed From WNBA Broadcast Amid Caitlin Clark Backlash

Sheryl Swoopes was pulled from Sunday’s Indiana Fever vs Dallas Wings matchup by NBA TV.

Swoopes was removed as sports analyst because of her unprofessional behavior toward WNBA Rookie of the Year and possible MVP Caitlin Clark.

Swoopes, 53, confirmed that she would not be working the game at College Park Center in Arlington, Texas.

“Not today Satan,” she replied to a fan on X.com before the Fever’s 100-93 win over the Wings.

Swoopes was replaced by WNBA icon Nancy Lieberman. Lieberman, 66, had high praise for Clark during Sunday’s broadcast.

“What Caitlin Clark is doing for the game is generational. As a baller to a baller… I wanna say thank you to you, Caitlin Clark, for lifting our game up. You and so many great players, what you’re doing is going to make all these women multi-millionaires one day. Like Tiger [Woods] did. Like Michael Jordan did. And we shouldn’t hate on her. We should celebrate her.”

Swoopes faced backlash from Clark’s fans after she defended Diamond DeShields’s hard foul on Clark during the Indiana Fever’s 100-81 win over the Chicago Sky on Friday.

Swoopes tweeted in support of DeShields after the game.

During a February appearance on former NBA player Gilbert Arenas’ YouTube podcast, Swoopes incorrectly said Clark was a 25-year-old beating up on 20-year-old players in college.

Swoopes also claimed 22-year-old Clark needed 5 years to break the NCAA’s all-time scoring record due to the COVID pandemic.

Near the end of the video below, Swoopes suddenly realized that Clark broke the scoring record in her 4th year at Iowa.

A Reddit.com user wrote: “I do not remember a single instance of an announcer being pulled from a game due to a beef or even perceived beef with a player. This is wild.”

A user on X.com said it would be a shame if Swoopes tarnished her WNBA legacy by hating on Clark who has nothing but respect for her elders.

Swoopes (pictured in Miami in July 1996) was the first player signed to the WNBA when it launched in 1997. She is a WNBA champion, a 3X WNBA MVP, a Women’s Basketball Hall of Famer and an Olympic gold medalist.

A software “glitch” at JPMorgan Chase Bank ATMs allowed customers to withdraw up to $40,000 in free cash from their accounts.

The glitch went viral on TikTok and other social media apps on Saturday morning.

Some Chase account holders exploited the software glitch by depositing fraudulent checks into their accounts using the Chase mobile app. Then they went to an ATM to withdraw the money before the checks cleared.

One man withdrew nearly $40,000 from an ATM after depositing 2 fraudulent checks into his account.

Others on TikTok said they were “approved” for large loans at ATMs and were allowed to withdraw the money immediately.

Videos of happy Chase Bank customers went viral over the long Labor Day weekend.

A spokesperson for Chase Bank said the glitch had been resolved by Sunday morning. Those who withdrew money by depositing fake checks had their accounts locked with massive negative balances.

“We are aware of this incident, and it has been addressed,” the spokesperson said. “Regardless of what you see online, depositing a fraudulent check and withdrawing funds from your account is fraud, plain and simple.”

Banks typically hold large checks for several days to verify funds are available in customers’ accounts.

The Chase spokesperson said stolen money was deducted from some bank accounts. Other bank accounts were locked and those customers’ accounts will be closed.

Chase Bank plans to prosecute customers who committed check fraud.

4 people shot on Chicago CTA train while they were sleeping

4 people were found dead on a Chicago Transit Authority (CTA) train when it reached a Blue Line station in Forest Park, Illinois early Monday.

Authorities say the 4 train passengers appeared to be shot while they were sleeping in their seats. Forest Park is about 10 miles West of Chicagoland.

One CTA official who viewed surveillance footage of the mass shooting said it was hard to watch.

The incident happened before 5 a.m. Monday on 2 Blue Line train cars, officials said. The bodies were discovered after the train pulled into the Blue Line station at 711 Desplaines Avenue in Forest Park around 5:37 a.m.

Three people were pronounced dead on the train. One person died at a local hospital. CTA officials said all 4 were paying passengers.

The victims were asleep when the shooting began, and at least one victim woke up begged for their life.

Officials said the shootings happened when the train was in motion. They have not said where the train was located when the shootings occurred.

Forest Park police confirmed that a suspect had been taken into custody on the Pink Train line about 90 minutes away.

The victims names have not been released pending notification of next of kin.

Police say the attack was random and none of the victims appeared to be targeted.

“This appears to be an isolated incident on this unfortunate day,” Forest Park Deputy Chief Chris Chin told reporters at a news conference on Sunday.

Chicagoland officials have been accused of a cover up. They claim the mass shooting did not happen within Chicago’s city limits.

But one person wrote on X.com (formerly Twitter), “[T]his is a Chicago crime not Forest Park … happened on CTA property and two CTA train cars … the Chicago Police Department provides law enforcement for the CTA.”
