50 Cent discussed his celibacy journey during an appearance on “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.” The rap mogul said he is still on the market but he’s celibate.

Colbert displayed a recent issue of Us Weekly magazine with 50 Cent on the cover.

“It says right there ‘Is he really celibate?’ 50 Cent are you celibate?” asked Colbert.

50 Cent responded, “Listen, when you calm down you can focus. Alright? It’s been good, I’ve been good to me.”

The 49-year-old businessman explained that romantic desire clouds a man’s good judgment.

“That’s when things start getting complicated. Things start getting confusing,” said 50 Cent. “Then if you go on a date but you have no interest in anything, I can see you now. I can say ‘Gotdamn girl, you fine but you ain’t got nothing going on.'”

Colbert asked Fiddy if he’s ever been married.

“No. I’m safe. I’m not a happy hostage,” said 50 Cent. “I made some mistakes, just not that one.”

Black Hollywood turned out for the New York premiere of the Peacock miniseries “Fight Night: Million Dollar Heist.”

The miniseries is about a real-life event that occurred after Muhammad Ali beat Jerry Quarry in his big comeback fight in 1970.

Later that night, hundreds of people were robbed in a massive stick up at a fight after party in Atlanta.

The miniseries describes the impact the robbery had on the people involved — the victims and the robbers.

The star-studded cast includes Kevin Hart, Taraji P. Henson, Don Cheadle, Samuel L. Jackson, Terrence Howard, David Banner, Lori Harvey and more.

“This is a high-level Black project with a lot of resources,” show runner Shaye Ogbonna told the Los Angeles Times. “It’s important that the story is told correctly and accurately. You don’t get a lot of opportunities like this.”

“Fight Night” is executive produced by Will Packer, who also produced the iHeartRadio podcast that the series is based on.

Packer responded to those who say the heist never happened.

“Oftentimes you’re getting pitched things by writers, and they’re just making up things that aren’t even as crazy and absurd as what happened in this story,” Packer said. “So for this to be true, I was like, ‘Oh my gosh, this is an incredible narrative.'”

“I can’t say I know how it feels not to have support as a trans person… [I’m] lucky because I have family and friends that accept and love me just as I am. Don’t let yourself be disrespect [sic] and most of all don’t ever give up.”

Sade hasn’t released new music since her 2010 album Soldier of Love. She will release “Young Lion” as part of the Transa benefit album on November 22. The album is dedicated to Izaak and other trans artists.

Transa includes new songs by Sam Smith, Andre 3000, Jeff Tweedy, and over 100 contributing artists.

Natasha Rothwell will star in and produce the television adaptation of the viral “Who TF Did I Marry” TikTok series.

The TV series is based on Tareasa Johnson’s 50-part TIkTOk videos about her nightmare marriage to a man who pretended to be a VP of a condiment company.

Johnson claimed her ex-husband had multiple ex-wives, pretended to be a university football star, lied about his daughter’s death (she’s still alive), and even passed off his twin brother’s life as his own.

Women everywhere identified with Johnson. Her TIkTok videos were viewed over 450 million times and Johnson gained over 3 million followers in 2 weeks.

Johnson, who is based in Atlanta, has appeared on talk shows such as “Good Morning America” and “Tamron Hall Show.”

Her ex vigorously denied Johnson’s allegations.

Rapper Chris “Ludacris” Bridges threw out the ceremonial first pitch prior to the Atlanta Braves vs the Colorado Rockies game at Truist Park on Wednesday, September 04, in Atlanta, Georgia.

He brought the same big arms that he wore in his “Get Back” music video.

Wednesday was Luda Day at Truist Park, as the Atlanta Braves honored Ludacris for his impact on Atlanta’s music scene.

As part of Luda Day, the Braves gave the first 15,000 fans exclusive Ludacris bobblehead dolls. The bobblehead features the Grammy-Award-winning rapper wearing a Hank Aaron jersey with a microphone in his right hand. He wears a gold watch on the other hand.

The Braves also paid tribute to the rap star with a set from the rapper’s official DJ, photo stations from his album artwork, and a “Luda’s at the Battery” food truck inspired by Ludacris’ Chicken and Beer restaurant.

Ludacris’ Chicken and Beer restaurant opened at Atlanta’s Hartsfield Jackson International Airport (Concourse D) in 2016.

The menu includes Southern staples such as dirty rice, green tomato chutney, blackened catfish, collard greens and, of course, chicken and waffles.

Ludacris recently made headlines when he drank glacier water in Alaska. The trend recently went viral on TikTok.

Luda, who has millions of followers on Instagram and X (formerly Twitter), sparked concerns for his well-being. However, glacier ice is so cold that parasites can’t survive.

“He’s totally fine,” glaciologist Martin Truffer told the Associated Press on Wednesday.

“It’s sort of understandable that somebody would be concerned about just drinking untreated water. But if you drink water from a melt stream on a glacier, that’s about the cleanest water you’ll ever get.”

Ugandan long distance runner Rebecca Cheptegei, who competed in the Paris Olympics, has died from burn injuries.

Cheptegei, 33, died early Thursday from 3rd-degree burns over 75% of her body after her boyfriend poured gasoline on her and set her on fire.

Dr. Owen Menach, director of Clinical Services and Surgery at a hospital in Kenya, confirmed Cheptegei died around 5 a.m., September 5, from “full organ failure”.

Police say Dickson Ndiema poured gasoline on Cheptegei and set her on fire during a domestic dispute at her home in Western Kenya on Sunday, Sept. 1.

While Cheptegei and her children were at church, Ndiema sneaked into the house with a container of gasoline around 2 p.m. Sunday.

When the family returned from church, Ndiema and Cheptegei began arguing. “The couple was heard quarreling outside their house,” police told journalists. The pair were described as arguing over the land their home was built on, according to People.com.

Ndiema allegedly poured gasoline on Cheptegei and set her ablaze.

“During the altercation, the boyfriend was seen pouring a liquid on the woman before burning her,” police said.

Ndiema also suffered serious burns during the incident. Neighbors put out both flames and rushed Cheptegei and Ndiema to a local hospital.

Ndiema’s condition is unknown. His charges will be upgraded to murder once he is discharged from the hospital.

Tyrese shared an emotional final post on Instagram after announcing he’s walking away from social media for good.

He shared a video with actors Vin Diesel and Michelle Rodriguez at the West Coast premiere of “1992” in Los Angeles on August 27.

Tyrese, 45, captioned the video: “I’m officially retired from social media. I’m gonna go dark. I’m gonna pray I’m gonna turn my comments off because I don’t want to be reminded of this very nasty and unbearable narrative that REAL MEN don’t cry [praying hands emoji].”

Tyrese continued: “REAL MEN these days are constantly being emasculated and someone has said lately even have the nerve to put the word TOXIC in front of MASCULINITY. Yes, the epic failure of trying to make me feel bad about literally being A MAN, an [ALPHA] MALE, protective or OUTspoken FATHER or HEAD of my HOUSEHOLD…”

Tyrese vowed “I’m not gonna put up another post” about his second ex-wife, Samantha Lee, with whom he shares 6-year-old daughter, Soraya Gibson.

He also has a 16-year-old daughter, Shayla, with his first ex-wife, Norma.

He concluded, “WE AS FATHERS KINGS, HUSBANDS , PROVIDERS MATTER TOO we cry and have feelings TOO!”

Tyrese broke down and cried during a recent appearance on The Breakfast Club in NYC.

When he was offered a tissue, he declined and said, “Nah, I don’t need no tissue. Black men cry. I’m doing the best I can with every 24 hours I get.”

Tyrese has been stressed out since Lee took him back to court to increase her child support to $40,000 a month.

“Are you not aware of the damage that you caused?” he said, referring to Samantha.

Back in 2018 Freddie Jackson said he lost over 100 pounds through diet and exercise.

His fans were concerned that the “You Are My Lady” singer was terminally ill or on his death bed.

Now the R&B singer says he has been diagnosed with kidney disease.

In a video, Jackson said “I have been diagnosed with kidney disease. This journey has had its challenges. But I’ve decided to face it with openness and resilience. It’s important to me that I share this with you, not just as a part of my personal story, but as a way to make a positive difference.”

Jackson, 67, announced he has “partnered with the National Kidney Foundation to raise awareness about kidney health and support for those who are affected by kidney disease.”

Jackson thanked his fans for their encouragement, love and support.

In an interview with WBLS radio in 2018, Jackson dismissed rumors that he had HIV, the virus that causes AIDS.

Jackson said he lost 107 pounds by living a healthier lifestyle and changing his bad eating habits.

He also said he lost weight as a natural process of getting older.

“I couldn’t do anything about getting older. We’re gonna get older by the grace of God,” he said at the time.

Jackson added that he didn’t want to wait for his doctor to tell him, “You’ve got to lose 50 pounds.”

The singer said he “grabbed the bulls by the horn” and took control of his life.
