Fans lashed out at R&B singer Usher, accusing him of using a body double during his tour opener in Washington, D.C.

Usher kicked off his “Past Present Future” global tour with 2 sold-out shows at Capital One Arena.

Fans paid hundreds of dollars for tickets to see the multi-platinum artist perform his timeless R&B tracks.

However, some fans complained that Usher pulled a fast one by using a body double during a costume change.

In a post on Instagram, Usher, 45, revealed he injured his neck while preparing for the tour. He said he postponed his Atlanta shows to get some rest.

Now fans claim Usher used a body double so he could rest during his 2-hour set.

As proof, one fan posted cell phone video on TikTok that shows a man dressed like Usher while singing his hit song “Yeah!”

But there was a problem: the person didn’t sound like Usher at all.

One fan wrote in the comments: “Who is this on stage?”

Another TikTok user wrote: “This can’t be the same Usher I saw in Vegas.”

A third person wrote: “All I know is after what I paid for this concert in October…the REAL Usher better be there.”

Mark Zuckerberg apologized to Americans for his role in censoring the truth about the COVID pandemic in 2020.

Medical experts who tried to warn Americans about COVID and the vaccines were banned from Facebook and Twitter.

In a letter to the House Judiciary Committee, Zuckerberg admitted his role in silencing the truth about COVID.

The letter was made public by Congressman Jim Jordan on Monday.

In a come-to-Jesus moment, Zuckerberg said he regrets his role in censoring content about COVID on Facebook (now META).

He said censorship was “wrong” and he plans to push back if the Biden administration pressures him again.

Zuckerberg detailed how senior officials within the Biden administration leaned on him to censor certain posts about Covid-19. He said the content included humor and satire about COVID. And he said White House officials “expressed a lot of frustration” when Facebook resisted.

“I believe the government pressure was wrong, and I regret that we were not more outspoken about it,” Zuckerberg wrote. “I feel strongly that we should not compromise our content standards due to pressure from any Administration in either direction — and we’re ready to push back if something like this happens again.”

Zuckerberg recently apologized to former President Donald Trump for banning him from the social media platform. He has since unbanned Trump. He said he spoke with the former President after Trump was nearly assassinated in Pennsylvania on July 13.

Zuckerberg reportedly called Trump’s reaction to getting shot “badass”.

California proposes $150K mortgage loans for immigrants

California is set to launch a program that will provide $150,000 in mortgage “loans” to illegal immigrants.

The program is in response to complaints by immigrants who lack adequate housing. Some immigrants who have been in the country for at least 2 years still live in migrant shelters and motels.

The loan program, called California Dream for All, provides 20 percent in down payment assistance, up to $150,000.

The Dream For All program launched in 2023 and quickly ran out of funding. Roughly $300 million was gone in just 11 days, and more than 2,100 immigrants secured loans.

The proposal is likely to pass the California Legislature this week in a state that has the majority undocumented immigrants in the country.

Democratic Gov. Gavin Newsom declined to say whether he would sign the bill if it is passed by the Aug. 31 deadline.

Over 10 million migrants surged over the southern border during President Joe Biden’s administration.

Vice President Kamala Harris, in her DNC acceptance speech on Thursday, said the country can “live up to our proud heritage as a nation of immigrants.”

Harris is pushing a proposal to provide up to $25,000 in down payment assistance to first-time, first-generation homebuyers.

The Harris campaign declined to comment on the proposal. Harris continues to ignore mainstream media requests for interviews.

In California, Republican lawmakers have also pushed back. GOP Assemblymember Joe Patterson said at a committee hearing this summer that he “just can’t get behind using our limited dollars for people who are in this country undocumented.”

The bill’s author, Fresno Democrat Joaquin Arambula, countered that the bill specifies applicants must have a taxpayer identification number or social security number to apply for a loan, which means they’re taxpayers.

“It isn’t given out willy nilly to just anybody,” Democratic Assemblymember Eloise Gómez Reyes said at the June hearing.

The aspiring dancer wore her natural hair past her shoulders. She also wore a face full of makeup and lip gloss. Fans say Blue resembles her mom, Beyonce. But others say she is the spitting image of her father, rapper Jay Z.

The Capricorn’s birth announcement at the 2011 MTV Video Music Awards sparked a frenzy on social media.

But Beyonce’s prosthetic belly broke the Internet when it folded over on an Australian talk show. Beyonce never got over the shame of “Bumpgate”.

Hip-hop manager Wack 100 claims record executive Irv Gotti suffered a mild stroke and is currently in outpatient rehab.

In a recent podcast, Wack 100 said someone sent him a photo of Gotti at a stroke recovery center in New York.

In the photo, a man who resembles Gotti looks thin and frail while using a quad cane.

A stroke occurs when blood flow to the brain is disrupted or due to a brain bleed.

Irv Gotti, real name Irving Lorenzo Jr., produced hits for Ja Rule, Ashanti, DMX and Jennifer Lopez. But he is best known for feuding with Jay Z, Nas, Sean Combs and 50 Cent.

Gotti co-founded The Inc. (formerly Murder Inc) record label.

Wack 100, 56, suggests Gotti suffered a stroke due to stress over his ex Ashanti dating Nelly.

Gotti, 54, opened up about their alleged relationship in 2022. But Ashanti shut him down, saying “He was never my boyfriend.”

Ashanti, 43, recently gave birth to Nelly’s son — her first child.

Last month, Gotti was sued by a Florida woman who claimed he sexually assaulted her.

The woman, identified in court papers as “Jane Doe,” claims Gotti assaulted and abused her on several occasions from 2020 to 2022.

“As a result of this sexually abusive relationship, Plaintiff has suffered severe emotional and psychological harm for which she had to be committed to a psychiatric ward. These injuries continue and affect Plaintiff to this day,” her attorney wrote in court documents.

The Atlanta Dream WNBA team normally plays in the smallish Gateway Center Arena in College Park, Georgia. But Monday’s game against the Indiana Fever was moved to State Farm Arena to accommodate the Caitlin Clark show.

Clark and the Fever rolled into Atlanta and rolled over our Atlanta Dream 84-79 in front of a sold-out crowd.

Clark, 22, finished with 19 points, 7 assists and 7 rebounds to lift the Fever’s record to 14-16 on the season.

She scored her 85th trey in the game, tying the rookie record set by the 2010 No. 1 pick Rhyne Howard in 2022.

And Clark committed just 2 turnovers, her fewest turnovers in a game since May 24.

Both the Fever and the Dream are fighting for a playoff spot. The Fever is currently in the No. 7 spot. The Dream and the Chicago Sky share the same 11-18 record.

Dream star Tina Charles showed respect for the rookie phenom when asked about the sold-out arena before the game.

“It’s great that there is a fitting arena in Atlanta just to accommodate,” Charles said. “Obviously, we know who Caitlin Clark is and her impact in this league, especially this year, so however we can get it, I’ll take it for me personally. Just thankful that I’m able to be a part of it.”

After the game, Clark autographed her Kobe sneakers for an excited fan.

Alleged serial killer-turned-rapper Lil Durk is inspiring gang bangers to give their lives to Jesus.

The Chicago rapper, real name Durk Banks, 31, recently converted to Islam and denounced gang life.

Durk’s history as a member of a violent Chicago street gang is well-known. However, in 2019 he moved to Atlanta to distance himself from the gang life.

“Don’t label me nothing outside of A MAN A FATHER and A 1000% Muslim – THE VOICE,” he wrote in a post on Instagram.

“I don’t gangbang I’m a Muslim,” the Grammy award-winning artist wrote. “Basically what I was saying on my post in so many words you can’t do both ima be the one who say it.”

“So if you follow me as a brother, a friend, an icon, follow me to my new chapter of life,” he added. “When I make music | rap what I seen and been through not telling you to go do it HUGE difference the music won’t change but my life goals will.”

Lil Durk has inspired other gangbangers to give up the streets and turn to God.

Time will tell if Durk is really a changed man. There is a rumor that Durk is facing RICO charges.
