Myra Panache confirms my report on A-listers

Earlier I wrote about the existence of two A-lists in Hollywood – a mythical urban A-list and the one that truly counts. I told you that Sean Combs is no longer on the one that counts. Gossip purveyor Myra Panache backs me up on that.
She lists the true black A-listers in Hollywood on her site. But she left off Whitney Houston, and I disagree that Mariah Carey is A-list.
In my opinion, a true A-lister is not one who shows up at the top of everyone’s party list. Party planners tend to invite A, B, and C-listers to their events. A true A-lister is a celebrity whose photos sell for much more than the norm.
For example, if I were to snap a photo of Denzel Washington and Gabrielle Union leaving the Intercontinental hotel at 3 in the morning, I could probably command a few thou or more for that shot. But if I snapped a similar pic of Gabrielle Union and Ludacris, I would be lucky to get a few hundred for that shot. That’s because Ludacris is not an A-lister but Denzel is.

Ursher made an appearance on TRL and a little girl couldn’t contain her emotions. These pics remind me of the little crying girl on American Idol who cried her heart out at the very sight of Idol singer Sanjaya.
It ultimately came out that the little crying girl on Idol was “encouraged” by the producers of the show to cry on cue.
But what’s this little girl’s motive? I know damn well she’s not crying at the sight of Ursher unless he accidentally stepped on her corns or something.
New Music: T.I.P. – Hunt ‘Em Down

A new T.I. track has leaked on the Internets. I wish people would leave T.I. alone and stop releasing this type of music while T.I. is doing good in the hood. T.I. is doing positive things by talking with at-risk youth and sharing his experiences about drugs, guns and gangbanging.
I hope the Feds realize that neither T.I. nor Grand Hustle authorized the release of this music.

Earlier, I teased you with a post about Bow Wow and Ciara. I took the post down because, as you can imagine, the parties involved weren’t happy. One party objected to the word “running” and the other party just objected to the post altogether. LOL.
So here it is: I received a text at about 12:30 AM last night from a source alerting me to the fact that Bow Wow and Ciara were at the Sunday night celebrity bowling event at 300 bowling gallery. So my photographer Freddy O was dispatched over there to grab some shots.
At 4:30 AM, I received a call from a source. While we talked, a call came through to my source from Ciara’s camp. While I held on the other line, the person on the other line explained that Ciara didn’t see Bow Wow at all inside the bowling alley.
The source indicated to my source that Ciara said she was inside a VIP area with her friends while Bow Weezy was in another part of the building with his crew and Ciara had no clue that he was there. So hopefully I have cleared up all the confusion. 🙂

Ciara performed live at a private party in London over the weekend. As most of you know, that’s my birthplace and I still rep the UK to the fullest! My girl Ciara showed the critics that she can bust a move and still sing live. CiCi sounds great in this clip!
Almost blinded as a boy, Ryan Cameron helps kids see his vision

Over the years, Ryan Cameron, has repeated the story of how he was almost blinded as a boy. But the story has never been told with this much depth and emotion. In a revealing interview with the AJC, Cameron explained how fear of his mother’s abusive boyfriend drove him into his isolation and self-harming behavior.
- Cameron was 9, an only child at home with the chickenpox. His mom was at work, and he was scared.
He closed the door to his room, to keep away from his mom’s longtime, live-in boyfriend.
The guy pushed him around and taunted him by hiding the only Afro comb in the house. Cameron watched during a rainstorm as the man beat his dog on their apartment balcony.
“He had a substance abuse problem and was always in between jobs,” Cameron said. “He was the kind of guy who would get shot in a bar fight. You get people like that and it’s like, how come no one’s killed you yet?”
Cameron was afraid if he told his mom of the abuse, she would believe her boyfriend instead.
Alone, Cameron entertained himself. He wound a rubber band around a ruler and fired at toy soldiers.
This day, the ruler snapped.
One piece stabbed his left eye.
Bleeding, he held out as long as he could in his room. Finally, he opened the door.

I don’t like this song at all. And now that it has been revealed how producer Polow Da Don came up with the beat – it’s obvious why the track sounds so lame.
I hope Usher didn’t pay too much for the garbage pre-set beats, lol. As usual, Usher’s acting stinks, and the video is so dark you can’t see anything. This video gets a thumbs down.

Guns drama at wedding of Bey and Jay

According to British gossip column 3AM, bodyguards frisked low lifes attending the wedding of Beyoncé and Jay Z last week in Manhattan. They say you are the company you keep, and apparently Beyoncé keeps some very questionable company.
Reportedly, 3 guns were left in a box outside Jay Z’s Tribeca apartment where the wedding reception took place. The guns belonged to wedding guests.
- “It was such a romantic evening. Beyonce’s mum had been chief wedding planner and spent nearly £750,000 on decor and flowers, making sure everything was all-white on the night.” And, of course, all the guests sported the colour – no doubt using lots of napkins as they tucked into their sitdown dinner! Jay-Z, 38, real name Shawn Carter, then made an emotional speech praising his Bootylicious bride and jerking a tear from Gwynnie.
And Bey, 26, serenaded her new husband by singing a Natasha Bedingfield inspired ditty, with the words: “I love you, I love you, I love you.”
When the disco started and the newlyweds’ hit Crazy In Love came on, Bey performed a raunchy dance for Jay. And the couple made a dash for their crystalfilled bedroom just before midnight…
Adds our source: “Beyonce had imposed a no-sex rule three weeks ahead of the ceremony.”

(Source)Meanwhile, People magazine reports that Mary J. Blige ignored Jay’s orders not to talk about the wedding. The Diva shouted out the couple anyway from the stage during a concert over the weekend.
I’m also hearing that Jay has a “special guest” confirmed for the party he’s hosting in Atlanta with Jermaine Dupri tomorrow night. Anyone care to take a wild guess who that is?
I predict the other special guest will be the fire marshall, lol.
