According to MSN News, Anne Celeste Heche has died from her injuries after crashing her car into a house last week. She was 53.

Heche's close friend, Nancy Davis, announced her death on Instagram on Friday. She wrote: "Heaven has a new Angel. My loving, kind, fun, endearing and beautiful friend Anne Heche went to heaven. I will miss her terribly and cherish all the beautiful memories we have shared."

A rep for Heche released a statement Thursday saying the actress was "not expected to survive" after the fiery crash.

Heche suffered severe burns as well as smoke inhalation that deprived her brain of oxygen following the crash.

"Unfortunately, due to her accident, Anne Heche suffered a severe anoxic brain injury and remains in a coma, in critical condition," a representative told CNN in a statement. "She is not expected to survive."

"It has long been her choice to donate her organs and she is being kept on life support to determine if any are viable," the statement added.

The statement went on to "thank everyone for their kind wishes and prayers for Anne's recovery and thank the dedicated staff and wonderful nurses that cared for Anne at the Grossman Burn Center at West Hills hospital."

"Anne had a huge heart and touched everyone she met with her generous spirit... she will be remembered for her courageous honesty and dearly missed for her light," the statement said.

Heche won a Daytime Emmy in 1991 for Outstanding Younger Actress in a Drama series for her role in the long-running soap opera "Another World."

She is survived by her two sons: 20-year-old Homer Laffoon and 13-year-old Atlas.

Blood work taken after Anne Heche's fiery car crash last week shows the actress had cocaine in her system, police say.

"Based on the blood work, it revealed the presence of narcotics," Officer Lizeth Lomeli of the LAPD told Deadline on Wednesday.

Lomeli confirmed that the Emmy-winning actress is facing a possible felony DUI charge after cocaine was found in her system.

"However, additional testing is required because we have to rule out any substances that were administered by medical treatment," Lomeli said.

Heche, 53, is still in a coma and breathing with the assistance of a ventilator in an ICU. Police obtained a warrant to get a sample of her blood from the hospital.

Heche is in "extremely critical condition" after suffering severe 2nd- and 3rd-degree burn injuries from the August 5 incident.

A photo obtained by TMZ showed a vodka bottle in Heche's car after she first crashed into a garage, then sped off. The toxicology test ruled out alcohol in her system.

Heche was driving at a high rate of speed when her car ran off the road and collided with a residence in the 1700 block of Walgrove. The fiery crash destroyed the house, but the homeowner, her two dogs and a pet turtle escaped injury.

A GoFundMe launched by Lynne Mishele's neighbors raised over $132,000.

The Los Angeles Police Department is investigating actress Anne Heche for driving under the influence of alcohol after she crashed into a garage and a house on Friday.

Heche, 53, is in stable condition in an intensive care unit with severe 2nd- and 3rd-degree burns as well as smoke inhalation and internal injuries.

Police believe Heche was either intoxicated or on drugs when her Mini Cooper slammed into a garage. When residents of an apartment complex rushed out to help her, she drove off at a high rate of speed.

Moments later, Heche crashed into a house setting off a fiery explosion that destroyed the house.

A crane was used to remove Heche's car from the rubble so first responders could get to her.

The female homeowner of the now demolished house was in the backyard and escaped without injury. Neighbors launched a GoFundMe for the woman that raised over $62,000.

LAPD sources tell TMZ, authorities got a warrant for a sample of Heche's blood. The results have not been revealed, but police believe she was intoxicated at the time of Friday's crash.

The LAPD will refer the case to the L.A. City Attorney for possible hit-and-run charges and criminal damage to property.

A photo obtained by TMZ just before the crash appeared to show a bottle of whiskey or vodka in a cup holder in Heche's car.

TMZ also obtained Ring doorbell video of Heche's car speeding down a residential street before slamming into the house.

As TMZ reported, Ellen DeGeneres's ex-lover was on a podcast earlier in the week where she was drinking vodka and wine and appeared intoxicated.

Heche has a history of mental problems. On August 19, 2000, Heche parked her car by the side of a road outside Fresno. She stripped down to a bra and panties and walked 1 1/2 miles to a stranger's home, where she knocked on the front door.

The female homeowner recognized her from her movies and let her in. Heche took a shower in the stranger's home and made herself comfortable. When she wouldn't leave, the woman called the local sheriff's office.

Heche reportedly told sheriff's deputies that she was "God, and was going to take everyone back to heaven in a spaceship." The deputies summoned an ambulance, and she was whisked to Fresno's University Medical Center, where she was admitted to the psychiatric unit. However, she was released after only a few hours.

Aspiring rapper Apple Watts is fighting for her life in a California hospital after her car collided with a diesel truck and she was ejected through a window.

The former stripper, who was born Jontelle Watts, was driving from Los Angeles to Las Vegas on Wednesday, March 23, when her Mercedes collided with a truck near Interstate 15 in Baker, California.

The black Mercedes flipped several times and burst into flames, according to TMZ. Watts, 36, was ejected through a window and suffered "life-threatening" injuries.

She was airlifted to a hospital where she is in a surgical intensive care unit with a broken spine and fractured skull, among other internal injuries.

The mom-of-three is best known as a cast member in the 5th and 6th seasons of Love & Hip-Hop: Hollywood.

She is also an aspiring rapper and former stripper who appeared in music videos for Chris Brown, Future Hendrix, Ty Dolla $ign, and YG.

In Love & Hip-Hop: Hollywood, Watts opened up about her rough childhood and growing up in the foster care system in South Central Los Angeles. She never knew her father.

Watts started stripping at age 21. She complained that strip clubs in Hollywood were very biased towards Black strippers and they preferred to hire white or Mexican dancers.

Despite her many setbacks, Watts succeeded in a racist system that is set up for her to fail.

The reality star is a mother of two sons, Richard and Kali, and a daughter, Miyaki. She was involved in a romantic relationship with pro basketball player Ty Turtle.

Watts allegedly conceived daughter Miyaki using donor sperm. She was reportedly in a relationship with a woman at the time.

A woman who claimed to be Watt's cousin on Facebook, wrote:

"I'm very saddened by the news of my cousin. You know family is the first real friends you have in life... Cousin I'm praying for you!! I'm praying God keeps your sons covered."

Scottie Pippen appeared to rear end a black Audi SUV while leaving a strip mall in Woodland Hills, CA. on Thursday. The former Chicago Bulls star was behind the wheel of a grey Range Rover when he collided with the rear bumper of the Audi.

In unrelated news, Pippen's ex-wife Larsa Pippen claims she's still "traumatized" after she ended her marriage to Pippen. "He's the punisher" she said on the most recent episode of "The Real Housewives of Miami."

Larsa, 47, revealed that Pippen, 56, wasn't so happy when she tried to sell their Miami marital mansion. "I don't even know what's happening," Larsa said, adding that she "was kind of trying to force him to sell" their Miami home. She said Pippen allegedly told her she would "have to send" their 14-year-old daughter, Sophia Pippen, "back to L.A." to live with him.

"I was traumatized," said Larsa, pictured with her son Preston Pippen in December. "If [Scottie] doesn't get his way, he punishes me. He's like The Punisher," she added.

In a confessional interview, Larsa noted that her ex "is used to controlling the narrative."

"This is like his last piece of control that he's got over me and the kids," she said. "He's only punishing me because I'm making him sell the house."

Larsa told her co-star Alexia Echevarria that she was used to Pippen waiting on her hand and foot in the early days. She said she expects to be similarly pampered by any man she meets.

"I would expect so much. I would expect a guy to do so much for me. Because that's what I've had. If you're not going to do a whole bunch of things for me, then why would I want to be with you? I'd rather be alone."

A grieving man who left flowers at his fiancée's grave was arrested last month and charged with criminal littering.

According to WRBL, a trial date has been set in March for Winchester Hagans, who is accused of leaving a planter box at his fiancée, Hannah Ford's gravesite at Memorial Park Cemetery in Auburn.

The planter box was decorated with photos of Hagans and Ford together during happier times.

Ford, 27, was killed in a three-vehicle crash on January 17, 2021, a month after she got engaged to Hagans.

Hagans told WTVM-TV that he left the planter box at Ford's gravesite because she preferred live flowers over cut ones. Hagans said the city told him he was allowed to place the planter box at Ford's grave — as long as her family didn't complain.

The family complained to the Auburn Police Department, and Hagans learned about his arrest warrant when he was pulled over during a traffic stop for an expired tag.

"[They] handcuffed me on the side of the road on a Sunday morning," he told WRBL.

The media outlet obtained a copy of the criminal complaint — which was signed by Ford's father. Hagans said he and Ford's family had a "tense relationship" and that someone kept throwing away the cut flowers he left at her gravesite.

The Auburn PD released a statement following the public uproar.

"The police department is simply a process server that allows parties in conflict to be before the court," the statement read. "The facts of the case will be presented by both parties and weighed in Court."

Hagans has pleaded not guilty to littering. He told WRBL, "I just want to be able to put flowers on her grave."

A prosecutor will ask for the maximum penalty for former Raiders wide receiver Henry Ruggs III at his DUI trial.

The Raiders released Ruggs from his contract on Tuesday, hours after he was involved in a fatal DUI crash that left a female motorist and her dog dead.

Ruggs, 22, was driving at more than 150 mph with a blood-alcohol level twice Nevada's legal limit when his Chevrolet Corvette crashed into the back of a Toyota RAV4.

Ruggs and his passenger, Kiara Je'nai Kilgo-Washington, 22, with whom he has a baby daughter, were treated at a hospital with "serious" but non-life-threatening injuries.

A loaded gun was found in his car, prosecutors say.

Ruggs was booked into a Las Vegas jail and appeared in court on Wednesday with his attorneys, David Chesnoff and Richard Schonfeld. He wore a neck brace and was in a wheelchair after suffering a hip fracture in the crash.

He was not asked to enter a plea to the charges, pending the formal filing of charges by Clark County District Attorney Steve Wolfson, according to
