Seahawks lose

The New England Patriots defeated the Seattle Seahawks 28-24 in Super Bowl 49 on Sunday. Only one play stood between the favored Seahawks and their destiny as back-to-back Super Bowl champs. Then something strange happened; something that has never happened before in the annals of Super Bowl history when a team is on the 1-yard line with the best running back in the NFL in their backfield. Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson threw an interception instead of handing the ball off to Marshawn Lynch.

Marshawn Lynch

A vain NFL player who is apparently too cheap to valet park his car surrounds his expensive sports car with velvet ropes when he parks.

A Twitter user posted this photo of Seattle Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch's expensive Lamborghini Aventador parked on a busy street in Oakland, Ca., yesterday. The $400,000 luxury sports car is protected by 4 chrome stanchions with red velvet ropes, much to the amusement of passersby.

Richard Sherman

Seattle Seahawks Cornerback Richard Sherman may hail from Compton, California, but he insists he is not a thug or a gangsta -- despite his thuggish rant in the most talked-about post-NFC title game interview ever.

Most of the country is still buzzing about Sherman's post-game interview with FOX Sports reporter Erin Andrews, in which he disses San Francisco receiver Michael Crabtree for disrespecting him after the game.

"I'm the best corner in the game!," he shouted. "When you try me with a sorry receiver like Crabtree, that's the result you gonna get! Don't you ever talk about me!"

A befuddled Andrews asked, "Who was talking about you?"

"N-- Crabtree!," said Sherman, who caught himself just as he was about to blurt out the N-word on national TV.
