In a video on Instagram, Eva Marcille "thanked" retired rapper Da Brat for a gift box of custom slippers. She says she was cleaning up her room when she found an old box that she never opened.

The box contained slippers featuring the faces of late celebrities such as Tupac Shakur and Nipsey Hussle.

Eva captioned the video:

"Thank you @sosobrat It has always been the little things for me. Now I'm cleaning up my bedroom and I noticed I still have a few huge boxes that I need to unpack and I opened one that was filled with the most epic slippers!!!! Yay shout out to @sosobrat For thinking of me and making this happen and thank you so much @sockcess13 @slipperheadz20 For my amazing slippers. They are detailed, personal and they are beautiful. I love them and thank you so much."

One confused follower wrote: "Anyone has an issue with nobody looks anything like what they're supposed to or is it just me???"

Another wrote: "That pic of Nip doesn't look like him whatsoever.. none of the pics look like who their supposed to.. I'm just saying."

This is just one of the ways that celebrities circumvent the FCC's rules on sponsored posts or paid ads.

The FCC has made examples of stars who forgot or ignored the rules which requires attaching "Ad" to paid ads.
