Coi Leray brushed off criticism over her Verzuz battle against rapper Megan Thee Stallion.

Coi Leray bumped into Megan at a nightclub and challenged her to a twerk off. Coi wasn't impressed after a recent viral video displayed Megan's twerking skills.

So Megan accepted the challenge. Poor Coi struggled to keep up with the "WAP" rapper. The pint-sized rapper gets points for making an effort.

Coi also dismissed fans' concerns after she appeared to pass out drunk in a bathtub filled with water recently.

In the video, the 25-year-old rapper appeared to be passed out in a bathtub, while a woman tapped her, saying "Come on, come on, come on."

Coi took to her Instagram Story and said, "It's so crazy how happy I be after I drink I see why people be alcoholics... She added, "Y'all leave me alone!"

Tiara Mack, Rhode Island's youngest senator, was suspended from TikTok for posting a video of herself twerking for votes.

In the video, the 28-year-old politician twerks awkwardly while in a handstand.

Mack described the reaction to her twerking video as "misogyny, classism and racism" in a phone interview on Wednesday.

"My behavior on my Twitter, Instagram and TikTok are consistent with a young millennial who is in office and challenging norms," Mack said.

"I'm showing that leadership looks different and welcoming people into the many different facets of my life."

But not everyone agrees with her message. Twitter users called Mack's behavior disgraceful and shameful and they said she had no business being a state senator.

Mack's TikTok account was restored on Wednesday after being suspended on Tuesday.

"My community stands in overwhelming support of me," Mack said, referring to the LGBT+ community. "They know exactly what these attacks are and what these attacks can do, especially for a queer person of color."

Mack, who was elected in 2020, said the video was "a way to show that elected officials can be silly and have fun and enjoy a day off."

She believes the TikTok suspension was politically motivated after she proposed a bill last year that would require Rhode Island schools to provide sex education to children that "affirmatively recognize pleasure based sexual relations, different sexual orientations and be inclusive of same-sex relationships."

Rhode Island's youngest Black senator embarrassed and humiliated her ancestors by releasing a TikTok video of herself twerking for votes.

Most insulting to many was the fact that Mack did such a horrible job twerking. Now she's complaining about the public backlash on social media.

Mack defended her actions on Twitter.com by blaming the news media for her problems.

"Damn. Twerking upside down really makes the conservative, unhinged internet accounts pop off on a Monday. can the media cover any policy wins had by the youngest Black state senator in Rhode Island? can the media also cover the 10+ bills I sponsored that the @RISenate never scheduled for a hearing? As a Black, queer woman you all should know the answer. It’s no. Let's them carry on their narrative. Me? I'm going to be joyful, free, and unbothered."

Who is Tiara Mack? And why did she think releasing a twerking video was a good idea in this political climate?

Ms. Mack is an educated 28-year-old Democrat who was among a group of young Black LGBT+ lawmakers who made history when they were elected to public office in 2020. She assumed office on Jan. 5, 2021.

Other LGBT+ lawmakers elected in 2020 include Kim Jackson, a lesbian in the Georgia State Senate; Mauree Turner, a lesbian Muslim elected to the Oklahoma House of Representatives; and Michele Rayner-Goolsby, a lesbian in Florida's House of Representatives.

Mack, who is openly lesbian, was raised in Georgia and South Carolina by a single mother who worked as a teacher and struggled financially.

Mack moved to Providence, Rhode Island in 2012 and earned a BA in public health in 2016.

Ciara made eyebrows jump when she shared a video of herself twerking for men in a gas station across from a Wendy's restaurant in California.

"Made dem gas prices #JUMP," she captioned the video in reference to skyrocketing gas prices on the West Coast.

Last week Ciara promoted her new single "J.U.M.P." with a video teaser that showed her and scantily clad dancers twerking on a Ford Bronco SUV in a gas station.

In both videos she wears a tiny tank top with tie-dyed booty shorts and a blue Kangol cap.

Many viewers questioned Ciara's sultry dance moves, given that she is a happily married mother of three.

A Charlotte woman says she received an eviction notice after her daughter and a friend were asked to stop twerking in the pool at their luxury high-rise apartment.

Marshette Foster, who is Black, said the apartment's concierge asked her 21-year-old daughter, Alanah Foster, and a friend to stop twerking in the pool.

The concierge approached Alanah and told her someone reported their sexually suggestive dancing in the pool. Marshette Foster told the Observer her daughter told him she would stop dancing.

The concierge also told Alanah she had too many guests at the pool. Alanah was with a group of four people.

Alanah and her friend reportedly cursed at the concierge.

Foster told the Charlotte Observer she believes her family was targeted by a different concierge whenever they went to relax in the pool.

Element SouthPark management said the eviction stemmed from "extremely unacceptable behaviors" exhibited by Alanah and her guests that also included fighting.

The management company provided the Observer with several videos that show Alanah and her guests cutting up at the pool and in the hallways over the weekend.

However, Foster denied the allegations. "They're making us out to be unkempt, uncouth, that we don't follow the rules," she said. "It's not true. It's like they're fabricating."

Foster said she's paid $2,600 a month for a 2-bedroom apartment at the luxury high-rise since July 2021.

Foster retained an attorney who advised her to stay in the apartment past the eviction deadline while legal papers are filed to contest the eviction in court.

Actress Glenn Close insists her twerking to "Da Butt" during the 2021 Academy Awards on Sunday was not scripted.

The 73-year-old A-lister lost her eighth Oscar Award bid on Sunday night.

The actress, who was nominated this year for Hillbilly Elegy, was asked a trivia question by Lil Rel about previous movie songs.

Lil Rel asked guests if "Da Butt" was actually nominated for an Oscar or not.

Glenn correctly said the song was by EU and that it was written for the Spike Lee movie School Daze.

She stood up and twerked to the track, sending fans into a frenzy online.

Questions arose as to whether or not the scene was scripted.

In a post on social media, Glenn confirmed that she knew about the question in advance. She said she received a little help from her friends: screenwriter Chris Terrio, Oscar winner Daniel Kaluuya and his pal Darrell Britt-Gibson.

"I knew that Lil Rel was going to quiz me about 'Da Butt' and all three guys helped me run through what I was to say," she explained. "Darrell insisted that I mention the Backyard Band, on top of E.U., Suga Bear and the whole DMV.

"I googled 'Da Butt' and watched Spike's music video so when Lil Rel asked if I could do the dance... you can actually see me think of the video," she said, while adding that her twerking was spontaneous.

"That part was completely spontaneous. Daniel, Darrell and Chris egged me on!!! It was ALL their fault.”

She concluded her post, "CONGRATULATIONS DANIEL on your BEST SUPPORTING ACTOR Oscar. You are completely brilliant. I now consider both Daniel and Darrell to be friends-for-life!"

Sean "Puffy" Combs stopped the music during his Instagram Live dance party to rebuke troubled singer Lizzo for twerking on Easter Sunday.

Combs raised more than $3.5 million to aid healthcare workers during the first hour of his Easter Sunday digital dance party.

The music mogul hastily stopped the dance party when Lizzo, who tuned in remotely from her home, began twerking.

"Hold on! Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa! Stop the music!" Combs yelled.

"It's Sunday. Let's play something a little bit family friendly," Combs said, as Lizzo repeatedly apologized for her poor impulse control.

Combs organized the coronavirus relief benefit in collaboration with bosses at Direct Action, and kicked off the holiday event with his family on Instagram Live at 3pm EST.

The charity event opened with a set by DJ D-Nice, before Diddy invited actress/singer Rita Wilson to join in the livestreamed bash.

During the appearance, the Bad Boy Records founder gave Wilson's rap skills the thumbs up as she delivered an "incredible" rendition of her new Naughty By Nature fundraising collaboration, "Hip Hop Hooray (Remix)."

The beginning of Diddy's hours-long dance party also featured a chat with Brazilian superstar Anitta, and models Naomi Campbell and Winnie Harlow, while rappers Snoop Dogg and Megan Thee Stallion and comedienne Tiffany Haddish made remote cameos, too.

There was also an appearance by Combs's ex-girlfriend, Jennifer Lopez, and her fiancé, former baseball ace Alex Rodriguez. Combs and Lopez dated for two years from 1999 to 2001.

"Hi Papi!" greeted Lopez, after Combs asked how they were doing. "We're great, we're blessed and we're happy to be here today to support you..."

As Combs showed off his fancy footwork, Lopez joked, "I probably taught you that!"

Lopez revealed her fiancé, A-Rod, is Diddy's "biggest fan", as the hitmaker played the remix of his track "Been Around the World" for A-Rod.

Following the first hour of the dance party, Diddy announced the bash had already raised $3.5 million and counting for healthcare workers in underprivileged areas of the U.S.

Lizzo is headed home to Houston to dance for the Rockets NBA team following the backlash she received for dancing inappropriately in a thong at a recent Lakers game.

The 31-year-old singer shocked NBA fans when she wore a black t-shirt with the back cut out exposing her abundant cheeks.

Lakers fans complained loudly to the Lakers front office, asking the team to ban Lizzo from the arena.

Wendy Williams was among the critics rebuking the "Good As Hell" singer. Wendy said Lizzo's disgraceful display was "just wrong."

"There's a time and a place for a cut-out and thong showing... maybe a Lizzo show, or the strip club, or a nightclub," Wendy said during a recent episode of her talk show.

Despite the uproar, the Houston Rockets extended an invitation to Lizzo dance with their cheerleaders, the Clutch City Dancers.

On Dec. 11, the team tweeted: "@Lizzo, we like your moves! You have an open invite to come home to Houston and dance with @OfficialCCD on the court any time!"

Lizzo was born in Michigan and raised in Texas happily accepted the invitation, tweeting: "I'll be there with bells on my booty."

In a recent video chat. Lizzo responded to the backlash, telling her fans and critics to kiss her azz and "be blessed."

"Your criticism has no affect on me," she said.

"Negative criticism has no stake in my life; no control over my life, over my emotions. I'm the happiest I’ve ever been. I'm surrounded by love and I just wanna spread that love and also spread these cheeks. And you know if you really really don't like my azz, you can kiss it."

She added:

"I'm not gonna censor myself... I'm not gonna shrink myself because somebody thinks that I'm not sexy to them. (Laughs) Bitch, you really think 'cause somebody on Twitter thinks that I'm not cute, I'm gonna stop existing?"

Lizzo sparked a frenzy on social media when she twerked at courtside during Sunday's Los Angeles Lakers vs Minnesota Timberwolves game.

When the cheerleaders performed a dance routine to her hit song "Juice" during a timeout, the 31-year-old singer stood up, turned her back to the floor and twerked at Staples Center on Dec. 08 in Los Angeles.

Lizzo wore a long black t-shirt dress with cut outs to expose her bare butt cheeks clad in a black string thong.

Social media users lost their minds as the video went viral online. But some criticized Lizzo for her sexually suggestive attire.

Ironically, Atlanta's Jezebel magazine was the staunchest critic, calling Lizzo's thong "gross" and "unhygienic."

This is the same Jezebel magazine that defended 12-year-old Zion Wade for wearing a crop top, leggings and acrylic nails.

Jezebel, a liberal magazine, writes:

"Here's the truth: the dress is a cool, good, fun look. She should be able to trot around with her butt out at a family-friendly event; Americans could stand to be less prudish. However, I cannot stop thinking about her exposed ass and... other sensitive areas... sitting on a stadium seat. That shit is so gross! Maybe she placed a jacket underneath her booty? I can only hope someone reminded her to protect her vagine?" [sic]

Tennis superstar Serena Williams paused during filming a commercial for Chase Bank to give fans a quick tutorial on twerking.

Twerking is a dance that has come a long way since its humble beginnings in strip clubs. The dance originally required a strong back, an ample butt and a stripper pole for maximum affect.

But these days, anyone can do it.
