Lizzo joins Matthew McConaughey and other Hollywood stars who say cleanliness is an overrated experience.
The pop singer, born Melissa Viviane Jefferson, claims she smells better by not using deodorant under her arms.
Lizzo says she agrees with the actor who stopped wearing deodorant and says he doesn't have an odor.
The morbidly obese 33-year-old pop star shared an old article about the actor's decision to stop wearing deodorant back in 2005.
"Ok... I'm w him on this one," she wrote on Instagram. "I stopped using deodorant and I smell BETTER."
Actress Yvette Nicole Brown, who appeared in "Tropic Thunder" alongside McConaughey, recently revealed he doesn't have body odor issues despite not using deodorant.
"I remember that Matthew McConaughey said that he did not use deodorant and that he did not have an odor," Brown told the "Today" show.
"My first thought was, 'I'm going to get as close as I can to him to see if he's right.'
"He does not have an odor. He smells like granola and good living. That's all I can say. He has a sweet, sweet scent that is just him. It's not musty or crazy."
Lizzo was impressed by what she heard, and has decided to stop wearing deodorant as well.
