Remy Ma will appeal her conviction
After spending her first fitful night behind bars, rapper Remy Ma is said to be holding up well. According to insiders, prison officials placed Remy, real name Remy Smith, on a modified suicide watch.
Corrections officers removed anything from Remy’s cell that she could possibly use to hang herself. But rather than issuing her a paper jumpsuit – standard procedure with inmates on suicide watch – she was allowed to keep her prison jumpsuit.
The first few nights in prison are always the hardest for a celebrity. But eventually Remy will settle into a normal prison routine, and before she knows it, she will be a 50-year-old woman tasting freedom again as the prison gates clang shut behind her.
Meanwhile, Remy Ma’s attorney says he plans to appeal his client’s guilty verdict on assault charges, weapons possession, and attempted coercion.

You didn’t have to take it there, saying the poor girl would be 50 and still behind bars. I heard on The Russ Parr Morning Show……that she was so convinced that she was going to get off that she did not even tell her 8 year old son that she might not be coming home……….It’s sad, don’t know if its true, but I have heard that she has a nasty attitude and I hope this will change her.

naw peaches, that idiot pleaded Not Guilty….she didn’t cop a plea like the others…..she just let the Jury do their worst. If she’s lucky a sympathetic judge will not throw the book at her with a 10 yr mandatory serve, If she’s blessed she may get a year and 8yrs probabtion, If she’s damned then its curtains.
U know what…..if this was anyone else, i would probably feel TEENY Bad, but not her. in our paper, sandra, the article said that she didn’t even tell her 8 year old son that she might be going to jail. Now I find that a lil cocky and arrogant on her part. Who does she think she is thinking that she was just gonna walk like that. I do feel bad for the kid, but this ain’t about him.
