In a November court filing, Jeannie Mai raised safety concerns over rapper Jeezy leaving “unsecured” firearms in reach of their toddler.

Now she’s accusing Jeezy of domestic violence and child neglect.

Jeezy has since responded calling the allegations “false” and “deeply disturbing”. He said the claim is “a malicious attempt to tarnish his character.”

Jeezy and Jeannie tied the knot in 2021 in the backyard of their Atlanta area home. It didn’t take long before the alleged abuse began.

In new court documents, Jeannie recalled “three to four incidents” of physical abuse at the hands of Jeezy.

The TV host alleges that one incident happened in a parked car.

“Jeezy requested that the driver step outside the vehicle and began to berate her while holding her against her will,” according to the documents.

When Jeannie tried to jump out of the car, Jeezy struck her in the face with a closed fist causing a subconjunctival hemorrhage in her eye.

In another incident at the Ritz Carlton in San Francisco on April 24, 2022, Jeezy allegedly “choked her from behind as she was ascending the stairs”, and then pushed her down the stairs.

Jeannie claims she was verbally abused at the UNCF 39th annual Atlanta Mayor’s Masked Ball on December 17, 2022.

“During the UNCF event, Jeannie went to the restroom with her girlfriend, and Jeezy allegedly became enraged because he did not know her whereabouts for 25 minutes. He allegedly reacted by abruptly demanding that the two leave the party.”

On September 14, 2023, Jeezy filed for divorce, stating that “the marriage of the parties is irretrievably broken” and “there is no hope for reconciliation.”

He is seeking joint legal custody of their 2-year-old daughter, Monaco.
