Isn’t there some type of “Idiot Clause” in Kobe Bryant’s NBA contract that voids his contract if he’s caught doing something this stupid?

The Kobe video is a new viral video from Nike (very similar to Ronaldinho’s “Touch of Gold” ad a couple years ago http://youtube.com/watch?v=lsO6D1rwrKc)……the video is fake (just like ronaldinho’s).. notice him holding up the shoe at the beginning and also talk about the release date.. also his contract with the Lakers would be null and void if he really did this and posted this on the web (it was posted on his own website first (www.kb24.com).. so just to clear up the confusion, its not real ( but it looks cool!)

I do not believe this is real and if it is it just confirms my opinion that Kobe is great on the court and an idiot off the court.

You know I was watching the news this morning and the anchor woman made a really good point. If you look closely it looks like Kobe is closer to the camera than the car (or vice versa. Speculation is that he may have made the jump but not directly over that car.
There has to be some sort of clause in his contract to prevent this type of stupidity especially not long before the play offs.
No idiot clause in his contract…othewise, he wouldn’t have been in the room with that girl–wrecking up his marriage.
C’mon now that’s not real. It’s just a Nike commercial (He’s promoting his brand new shoes in stores a few weeks from now). It’s well done but it’s of course fake. Kobe would never risk his legs nor his life for a commercial. If that car hits him then he’s a dead man.

It’s kinda, sorta real. He wasn’t standing directly in front of the car when he jumped. The car was to his right. If he would have stood still the car would have zoomed past him and left him untouched. I say kinda, sorta because from the looks of it, he could make that jump if he wanted to.
