R.I.P: Twin sister of 702 member Irish, dies

According to Realgossip101, Orish Grinstead, one of the original founders of 702 (along with twin sister Irish), has died of kidney failure. She was 27.
Orish Grinstead, founding member of R&B girl group 702 out of Las Vegas, Nevada, passed away on Sunday, April 20th from kidney failure. She was 27 years old. Orish, who created the group along with her twin sister, Irish and big sister Lameisha, was what friends called ‘a good person, sweet, sincere, humble and full of life.’ According to friends Orish had been ill for a long time, and sadly, due to other medical complications she suffered from including cancer that had yet to be treated, she was not expected to live too long. I’ll post more details as they become available. But for now, my condolences sincerely go out to the Grinstead family, especially to Orish’s twin sister, Irish, during this time of their bereavement.

So sad. My prayers go out to them. Losing a family member is hard enough, I can’t how hard it must be to lose your other half.

Does anyone knows who owns the gossip blog ****? I ask that question because there is something almost sinister going on with that blog in relations to Black people, especially between Black men and women. it seems they incite us to tear into one another on a daily basis and they seem to encourage people to write the most vile racists things against Black people so that they can post them. i know that young Black people work there, but just who owns the site? Is it the same person who owns LOSSIP and JOSSIP? Because they don’t tolerate racism on those blogs and moderate comments before they post them, unlike on ****. This needs to be investigated and brought out into the open. and if you are concerned about this as I am, make sure to express your feelings and write to various Black people in the media about this. If they can moderate and not post racism against Hispanics on LOSSIP, why can’t they do the same for Blacks on ****? This is just wrong, wrong, wrong. We need to get angry and demand some answers from these folks over at ****. Especially the guy who is rumored to own the blog by the name of David Hauslib, I believe.
She is sooooooooo pretty. She was sooooooooo young as well. Dang. May The Almighty cover her family.

Dang…I hope Irish will hold up…..they have an old saying about twins not being able to go on long without their siblings I hope that doesn’t happen in every case. R.I.P to the Orish

Awww, that’s sooo sad. I was JUST talking about 702 the other day.
This is so sad! I remember when 702 had their first single with Subway, “The Little Games that We Play”. I have always been a fan of theirs. My prayers go out to their entire family.

Did you lose your twin?
I’m asking because twins seem to take it a lot harder when they lose a twin, harder than someone who loses a sibling, I just wanted to if there is truth to that. I have lost a brother, he was 22 when he died an accidental death due to carbon monoxide poisioning so please don’t think I’m being insensitive. I’m just curious.
I’m a twin myself.I can’t imagine.I’m close to my sister and if I lost her I be in shock.Been a fan of them since they came out.I knew one of them was sick but I didn’t think it was Orish.Kind of reminds me of when Michelle Thomas died, so young and beautiful and talented.God takes them away from us too soon.My thoughts are with her and her family.

Yes, I had a twin. She passed away when we were 5 yrs old from menigitis. Orish and Irish maybe had a stronger connection because she died much older than my twin. But, I have developed a DEEP spiritual connection with her. I know she is with me through good and bad times. I just can feel her, it’s crazy. It’s still hard to this day, because I do miss her, but I know that one day we will be together.
AWWWWwwww, im so sorry. So its true that twins do have this sort of spiritual connection to one another. Some even say that they can hear each others thoughts…I just think that has to be an awsome feeling! To always be a part of someone at all times, but thats also why they say that twins take it a lot harder when one passes on. Thanks for answering that question, Im sure it was difficult.

OMG, wow this is crazy. when the misha was on maternity leave orish stepped in and was performing with them so her being sick mustve just came about within the last couple of years. ne way my condolences to her family. ppl are dyiong way too young now as opposed to b4.
