Later, Ms. Tina and an assistant went shopping on Rodeo Drive. She ran into a photographer who asked if she was Beyoncé’s mom. Cell phone video shows Tina politely respond “Uh huh,” when he asked, “Aren’t you Beyoncé’s mom? Can I get a quick photo of you?”
“Right here. Stand right here. Perfect,” he told Tina. After taking a few photos, he instructed her to “Walk to me.”
“Start from back there and walk to me,” he said. But Tina didn’t walk back far enough. So he asked her to walk half a block away and then walk back toward him.
Anyone one else would have lost their patience with him, but Ms. Tina was cooperative and humble.
Afterwards, the man asked Tina if he could work with her as a photographer. “Yeah, my goal and dream is to, like, work with artists that inspire me,” he said. “And I like Beyoncé. So, she like one of the best for real.”
Tina and her assistant looked at him like… Tina asked her assistant to take down his number, but he gave her his Instagram handle instead.

Beyoncé’s fans say he fumbled the bag by not addressing Ms. Tina with respect.
One person tweeted: “Idk I feel like he comes across as a bit disrespectful and tone deaf. Right from the beginning he just refers to her as ‘Beyoncé’s mum.'”
Another person wrote, “His tone was irritating from the beginning. I can’t explain it but it was a off.”
A third person commented, “Tina was so patient and classy with him, she didn’t have to stop and pose like that.”
