Jesse Jackson should go ahead and step down

According to online reports, Jesse Jackson expressed more than his wish to castrate Sen. Barack Obama when he supposedly didn’t realize his mic was hot on Fox News last week. According to James Mtume, co-host of the Open Line Show on KISS FM in NYC, Jackson also called Obama a “f*cking half breed nigger”.

Lord knows I’m all for Free Speech, but not when it is hateful, ignorant, racist and morally wrong. If it’s true that Jesse Jackson referred to Barack Obama as a “f*cking half breed nigger”, then he has to step down from his position as head of Operation Push. Jackson is no longer effective as a spokesperson for the black community.

Don’t most blacks poudly claim the “Indian blood line because of their Hair”? Notice how no one calls him Rev or Rep. me Jackson anymore. He needs to sit down and not only retire but get lost in the ” sunset years”. He may not be as old as Barbara Walters, but needs to accept what is left of his sunset years (as Star Jones said of Barbara Walters) Jealousy and green with envy is the only thing I see with Jesse right now. Obama is a man trying to make a difference and Jesse is being a hater and he knows it. He just does not want to be proven wrong. Here we thought Billary could not go out on a graceful note. Not being mean but I thought black folks took and helped out their own. Is Jesse really trying hard to forcefully and purposely not help Obama get in the White House? Hateraide at it’s best. I don’t care if you are for the dems or the repubs. If you are a man with a (so called) religion your opionion is just that and you do know that GOD does not like ugly(ways). This to me is not a “to each their own but a WTF are you doing.

Yep. Jesse is about done. I have been wondering if our “black leaders” (i.e. Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton and Tavis Smiley among others) feel personally and professionally threatened by the possibility that is Barack Obama. I think they fear political and professional impotency. I am being more and more convinced with every bad move ….we may be our own worst enemy in this campaign. The Right Wing has nothing on what envious black people can do to each other.

I do recall one of the Fox guys saying that they only released the most palatable of what Jesse said. They said if they were out to hurt him, they could have released all of it. I think they didn’t release all of it because it would be even more helpful to Barack than it already has been.

I hope this incident will be Jesse’s undoing, like someone else stated he should have stepped down years ago..I lost all respect for him when he had that outside child a few years back..Jesse is nothing but a media who*e out for attention and money..How can you lead others when you don’t have your own sh*t in order.

Jesse hasn’t been able to represent the black community properly for the last 15 years. I’ve never felt like he represented me. For him to say that he didn’t know his mic was on is just complete BS. He’s been speaking to the media since before most of us were born in the early 70’s. He knew damn well what he was doing being the publicity whore that he is.
