A guy named Sergeant Willie Pete breaks down Lauren London's responses in a recent King magazine interview. I couldn't stop laughing at his raw analysis of black women who love them some thug men. But after the laughter, the cold reality is that this is how our young black women think.

Here's an excerpt from the article that the sergeant most objected to:

KING: So you want a man who’s both honest and thug?

London: An authentic gangsta—that deletes about half the rap game off your list. I love guys who are street. I won’t even give soft guys a chance. Menace II Society is my shit! Caine was like my first crush. Actually, O-Dog was my true dream guy. I was in love with him, from that opening scene where he pops the convenience-store worker. He had me from that gunshot [laughs]. He was ’hood, and I loved that.

In retrospect, I never knew London, who played Nu Nu in the movie ATL, was so dumb. But maybe this is God's plan: to take the dumbest of our women and put them together with the dumbest men (thugs) and hope that they don't procreate thus canceling each other out.

  • MAJAHINEVERYWAY

    She's young and doens't know any better yet. Her shape is broken too. Cute face though.

  • MAJAHINEVERYWAY

    doesn't. (I'm tired)

  • Testudo

    ROTFLMAO nail on the head! But u late sandra, been knew she was a fucking IDIOT! Have you ever heard her talk?

  • mjoylaw

    young, dumb and fulla...about says it. wait til she gets preggo by one or two of her thugs....see how quickly she changes her tune

  • Ladyy

    Okay what lauren said was not so bright (if she really wasn't misquoted by the writer of the article like she said she was). What I don't get is that dude generalizing & lumping all black women under the preference of preferring thugs because that is just not true. & Using music videos to validate his point is inaccurate because nothing in entertainment is authentic 99% of the time. & Lauren doesn't not represent the Black female demographic.

  • LB

    Wait, isn't Rocko a thug. And didn't u use that an excuse for what was perceived as a slight towards his relationship with Monica not too long ago.

    Im not agreeing or condoning Lauren in anyway, but come on Sandra. We don't have short memories.

  • luxe.li.

    Monica stay with the thugs, C Murder, Young Buck, Rocko, her late ex boyfriend, so Sandra what are you saying???

  • Sharonda

    Lol,I'm 21, and sure do not want a thug.I want an educated man, something going on for himself.Doing something rather productive is my choice.But no, sorry I don't know wha"typical black woman." I do have high standards. I think he means more like a typical woman because, trust, it is NOT just black women.

    But that Sgt. Pete dude.I heard of him before.Always generalizing.I can't stand people who can't make an effective argument.Just so flaw.And then full hypocrisy.For a man, get some sex in your life, seriously.Men starting to talk more ish than woman.Good Lord!

  • Sharonda

    Excuse the typos!

  • dblaq

    Yeah until they get caught up and have to do hard time because of their boyfriend then they sing a different tune. Like that Chick from Atlanta that was a Playboy model and a atlanta dyme? She got caught with a brick and some guns. but when she was in court for her hearing she cried and had her eyes all puffy when she found out that she had a 2 million dollar bond. These are the same type of bitches why these dumb ass wanna be thugs run around act hard just to impress these semen receptacles

  • missmiami

    She's a typical groupie. I wouldn't trust her around my man. LOL!

  • http://FreshFromTheStreetz.blogspot.com Zuley

    Me and Lauren are about the same age. And I agree with her. I like me some manly men THUGS like Tupac and Allen Iverson! But I also like educated brothas also like Barack Obama and Hill Harper. You ladies can have these John Legends, Bow Wow and Omarions and walk in on them in bed with another man if you wanna. No thank you I will surely pass. I liked Rocko until I heard him speak oh lawd the horror. So I will stick with that hometown cutie rapper Maino or Hill Harper.

  • ChokLitFactory

    Real talk Sandra. Lauren is young, uneducated and ignorant, nuff said.
    I also think reader/poster Zuley is also very ignorant. Tell me Zuley, how many baby-daddys do u have?? Just askin...

  • ChokLitFactory

    BUT I will agree with Lauren that I cannot take a soft man. I feel women these days are more 'hard' than the men! Whats up with that??

  • Paris Hilton’s Valtrex

    She said she wants an "authentic gangsta"! LMAO...I bet her azz would start crying if she was dropped off in the middle of the projects with bullets flying pass her azz!

    It's funny how people who live that lifestyle want to get away from it, yet people who don't live it want to indulge in it. I just don't understand people some times....

    Actually sweety I have no kids whatsoever. And I just don't settle for any nigga please believe I'm far from ignorant don't let the pretty face and model body fool you hun. A nigga would definitely have to be very well established financially for me to even think twice about talking to them let alone being a "babys mother". I would never jeopardize my hard worked figure to have some dudes baby where I wouldn't be comfortable for life. LOL too funny and too smart for that sorry.

    And as I stated on my blog and a lil in this post I agree with Lauren but feel she should have stated she likes educated brothas also like Hill Harper and Barack Obama. So please next time read my whole shyt and not pick out one thing I said like a menu cause I will make you and your argument look real dumb.

    Happy July 4th Everyone! Lata

  • London Marie

    Never cared for that lil tramp..

  • sheirry

    Sandra you are truly a character...you LOVE you some brainless monica and advocate every senseless and absurd thing that she says/do but yet when another celebrity states their taste and preference (stupid or not) that's a duplicate of monicas, you have the audacity to say their dumb, and clueless... you should look at your bigoted ways before you post or you come out looking counterfeit... because as "LB" say: we don't got no short term memories!!

  • Prissydiva71

    Lauren is still young, so she might not have thought out what she way saying when she made that comment. On the other hand, I agree with the other few posts in here! How soon we forget about Monica, who has dated pretty much thugs since she has been in the public eye. Don't be such a hypocrite Sandra. You're doll isn't the smartest chick when it comes to picking men either!

  • Prissydiva71

    Oops, meant to say "your doll" my bad!

  • bklynchick

    For Lauren to make that statement was dumb, but real at the same time. I feel like you choose the men you are around the most. Alot of young black females grow up in the hood and if you have grown up in the hood all of your life and you are around a thugs and see no positive role models except maybe in school or church, don't have a father around or have no sense of what a decent man is.....Guess what you go for that guy you are use to. It is what it is. I think all woman want a educated, smart, not a punk with a little hood in them. But life doesn't always give you that opportunity to meet the educated guy. So you learn more about what you want the older you get. As far as the Sergeant guy he is a clown and a idiot. He can't saying a decent sentence without cursing which makes he looks like a bigger idiot than he already is.
    You choose you own destiny in life and if you feel like selling dope is what you want to do than that is your decision nobody else. Don't blame black woman for that cause when he gets caught who is the first person he trying to call to make sure his straight in jail his baby mama, his Ho, or his mother. All wihich are females. But what Black people as a WHOLE need to do is stop blaming each other and their environment and start looking at yourself. Start helping one another.

  • bklynchick

    alot of typos but that Sergeant guy made me mad......

  • MissMac

    This Sgt character is a trip off the side of the world. He is talking about how Lauren is setting black women back 300 years and then he says that he puts a bitch on the 3 day rule. This dude doesn't speak to the character of all black women. I have never been in a video so the 400 videos he has as evidence still doesn't include me. Lauren was being really ignorant in the interview but this Sgt Willie is just as ignorant. I don't ask a man to provide me with anything more than I can do for myself. I think that you can like the rough aspects of a thug. My man is not soft. He is hard working and will bust someone's head to protect me and his children. And being in an in the street thug doesn't make you hard. I have heard of plenty of thugs breaking down and crying like children as soon as the judge gives them that 25 with a L. Stop me if you think that I'm lying.

  • dblaq

    First of all Ladies. What the hell do you consider "Hard"?????

    Running around with a pistol and flashing it every minute I get? Selling drugs? or because I am ready to shoot any man because he stepped on my shoes? I talk shit to anybody?

    All these so called "thugs" you idolize nowadays are not "hard"!! Way from it! Whats hard about running in crew of 10 and talk shit to one dude?? Hiding behind guns is not "hard", be a man and knuckle up. I put money on it that any of these so called thugs from Rocko, Jeezy, etc. wouldn't last a minute in a real fist fight UFC style.

    A real man will protect his family and who ever is close to them any cost, won't jeopardize their families saftey in order to impress others. So I don't what the hell you consider soft either. The only dudes that I know that are soft are those the grew up without a worry in the world.

    And many of black women today are responsible of the state of the black man today because they only act ignorant because the women like it and put that ish out there like Nu Nu. Like I said until the Feds run up in her shit and she has to take an "Association" charge we will see if she is gonna snitch to get off or if she is gonna do the time for her "thug" men.

  • mrsgibbs620

    Did any of you stop to think that maybe she was just joking? maybe not b/c people speak the truth all the time right? wrong? why did sandra post the interview in it's entirety the whole interview reminds me of converstations you have with a friend where u answer each question but you're joking. Not only that but lauren london says he took her answers way out of context. so maybe sandra can find us some audio? i'm just saying. Not only that but a preference is just that a preference people it doesnt mean that's who she will eventually settel down with just what she likes it's really not that serious for this guy to make a whole video for it. He needs a life and so does everyone else who is taking what she's saying word for word and dissecting it noone knows what she meant but her and the interviewer.

  • MsShayinGA

    Ms. Sandra, I'll have to agree with the ladies who called you bias. I love me some Monica..and I too like a man with an edge who isnt soft..I always say I want a "corporate man with street smarts". There are men out there who have street smarts but at the same time they don't wear their pants sagging off their azz, talking like they've never had English 101. They have been to school and they are doing big things. These brothers own companies and/or have jobs in corporate america and know how to act out in public. When in danger, these men aren't caught like a dog with his tail between his legs, if they need to DEAL with somebody, they know how to handle their business.

    But back to the matter at hand...if Lauren did say this..this is no different from the numerous interviews where our beloved Monica has stated what kind of man she wants. So be mindful of those you preceive as "dumb" for wanting a hood brother when a lot of the industry chicks you big up are the same -- Monica, Tiny, Keyshia Cole and the list goes on.

  • jamil2008

    He's absolutely right.

  • http://www.myspace.com/millyly milly

    I'm 22 I dont want a thug...some people are not only young but yound minded and I lucked out because I'm not one of them.

  • http://www.smokiesays.blogspot.com/ Smokie

    I REFUSE to talk about Monica in this post.

    Lauryn is young and that might be the kind of man she's interested in NOW. When a thug pops her across the head her taste will change. I'm 36 and I like a real dude, myself. By that I mean I like a man who wears his pants a little low SOMETIMES, keeps a fresh cut, and makes me laugh. But then, he also has to have a legal job which allows him to EMAIL or IM during the day, and he has to treat me and others around him with respect -- unless he's challenged. (A nice dude who can't be walked over.) I have just described my husband and I think most women want a touch of n!gga mixed with gentleman. The problem is that you either find JUST a n!gga with no gentleman in him or vice versa. The mix is what a lot of black women want.

    Trust me, if Lauryn ran into a fine brother who gave her a little street, treated her like a queen, made her laugh, held down a legal job, etc, she'd be with THAT. Well, I hope she'd be with that. lol

  • http://www.smokiesays.blogspot.com/ Smokie

    and the guy talking about Lauryn took it too far. He sounds like a short, fat bitter dude.

  • http://www.smokiesays.blogspot.com/ Smokie

    one more!

    Another problem is that women don't give men a chance to show who they are. Women tend to make snap decisions based on what they see on the outside. A lot of real guys get passed over b/c chicken heads don't understand that a REAL man doesn't put it all out there on day one. They pass up nice guys thinking that they are weak, but often times if they'd give the nice guy a minute they'd realize that the nice guys can kick azz too. But the guy who is talking about Lauryn isn't a nice guy. He's a bitter guy who needs some snatch asap.

  • ThatCarmen

    @Smokie and Milly.... Amen and Amen!

    Also, ... Its not just a "black woman" way of thinking. There are plenty of young MINDED white girls/women who are the same way. Some of them like white dudes who have a lot of money, drive a BMW, ....are hooked on some crazy drug (Meth), probably kick their ass every once in awhile.... all of that and then some or a combo of a few(you get it). That's their "thug". So, overall, ol'girl described a very young minded version of what type of guy she wants....one who can "pop the convenience-store worker"...wow. I hope she really thinks about what type of dude will be a good father and part of a great family support system for her kids one day (if she wants them) and one who she doesnt have to love in between iron bars.

  • ThatCarmen

    OH yes, and @ dblaq...well said!!!

    Our pretty faces and bangin bodies dont last forever ladies!! We can be as fine as Hallie and Stacey Dash well into our 40s but, at some point......thats just not going to be the body that we grow old in with our men.

  • luxe.li.

    P.S. I have dated that "hard" dude and I will say never again, because all the drugs, getting in trouble is too much on my sensitive worried ass, I hate worrying if he's alive or not or in jail, and I'm worth more. I'm a smart, college educated black women who lives in a not so neighborhood back home and has gotten away from it and now lives in Midtown Atlanta, and I have a few males friends who are nice college men that might not have the street cred, but they are the right caliber of man for me, so my future husband will be like my father, a college educated black man with no criminal history that can hold his own and isnt going to let me run over him, that might own a gun might not (cause my father has guns but their registered and he doesnt use them they're for protection) and that I can be comfortable with

    anyway

    all i wanted to point out is Sandra says shit for reaction and is so bias cause its so true, the main woman she posts about all the time like them type of men....monica keyshia tiny, so my question is......Sandra whats the point of this post?

  • ChokLitFactory

    Ok I'm late on this.
    @ Zuley, perhaps I used a wrong choice in words. You may not be ignorant at all, but some of your comments are very ignorant!

    Lauren London is saying she has an affinity for gangstafied men like the character in M2S that shoots up a store clerk. That shyt is ignorant. To say you agree with London but you also like men like Barack Obama and Hill Harper...almost sounds contradictory. Most of your comments on this site have you going off about how men need to be more like Tupac when countless Posters have told you the truth that Tupac wasn't no authentic G! If you don't want to be misunderstood, perhaps you should consider your choice in words. I'm just letting you know how you come across...like many other confused young black women today.

  • purepisces

    I'm sad to say that alot (NOT ALL. BUT ALOT) of what that guy had to say is true, but like others on here have said, it's not just black women! And that childish crap with the 3 day rule shows he has some growing up of his own to do! I agree with the thing Lauren said about not falling in love in 3 weeks. I'm a grown ass woman, but that just screams WRONG to me!! LOL!! Lauren also said some young and dumb shit, but anyone who supposedly dated Lil Wayne is likely to think that way...I don't see what else you could see in his lil gremlin ass! LOL!! I do agree that if thugs were all you were brought up with, it's likely that that's what you'll go for...perhaps that's why I've always gone for the nerdy types. I HEART NERDS!! =) LOL!! This whole thing reminds me of David Banner's comments on BET Hip Hop Vs. America: Ladies, if we want to make a change in the black community, stop sleeping with these worthless triflin men and popping out more innocent children to perpetrate the negative cycle many of us are caught in.

  • dblaq

    Let me just say this as a man and as one the lived the street life for a long time, for me it wasn't choice it was circumstance, I did what I had to do to eat, survive and support family.

    HOWEVER... I watched the Cosby show, I watched a Different World and in my thug years I always dreamed of living a life as what I saw on TV, I watched shows of people living well, having a nice family, wife and kids, etc.. So it was my motiviation to achieve it, to see more than just my hood because pissy elevators, trash in the hallways wasn't my flavor ever. Just because you are in the hood, you are not cut off from the outside world. That excuse is such a cop out for everything. If you want a better life you can attain it, you just have to want it. Majority of these dudes come from decent households, they may have not been rich but they had school clothes, food everyday and a roof over their head. They simply do it for the show, males do it for the females simple and plain. The females make a huge part of the contribution to where ish is today. Just like Banner said if the women wouldn't give these dudes the time of the day, I bet there wouldn't be a lot of thugs in this world. Part of the thug ritual is to have a lot of women, you may be the main one but in the code of being a thug is do f**k a lot of women. I haven't met one that said I am faithful to my girl and they never will. Just listen to Plies song I don't even know the title "where he said I know i did you wrong but can I f**k you one more time before you go". So if you date the thug don't cry about your man having his peckerwood all over the place, and maybe give you some ish you didn't want.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    Thanks for sharing your comment. For some it is survival, do or die. No one has to stay in that way of life because, there are choices. I want a man who knows how to kick ass, but not mine. I want a man with a backbone and who knows how to stick up for himself. I don't want a thug, I want a man. All these woman who purposely get pregnant by a thug and he is able to buy cribs, play pens and diapers, so what. What is the baby going to get when his ass gets shot and dies or shot and lives. If he did not pay anything into social security there is no future money. He can't get a accidental death or injury (while on the job)policy. You have to have a real job to qualify. So sad that so many young woman think so little of themselves that they don't know that looking foward to the future is not in their dreams. Now the groupies that like the thugs with movie and record deals, they may get paid but how many thugs stick around to help raise the child(ren)?
  • stefany
    All I can do is shake my head, yea these ignorant ass chicks love a thug until that thug comes out and Mr. Gangster put a whipping on them or put his fists in their pretty face..This the same dumb statement T-Boz made some years back she stated that she wanted a "coporate thug" what ever the hell that is, then along came Mack-10 she fell in love, got married, and had a child with this fool, then the real thug came out because Mack-10 started putting the smack down on that ass and threatening to kill her, now they're divorced and she looks stupid..The End.
    I really believe women like this have some serious psycholigical and emotional problems that attracts them to this certain breed of man, we all have our preferance and there's noting wrong with that but you have to ask yourself do these young women sometime bring certain drama on themselves..Look at all the women going crazy over Lil Wayne talking about how fine he is (what the fu**)..I like a man with a little street in him but not so street to where he's just a ignorant ass thug..But to each her own.
  • starr
    Someone needs to define what it means to be real and hard. There is absolutely nothing real about a guy who wears his pants low, carries a pistol, there's nothing hard about any of that. Makes these guys a look like a turd.
    I'm 20 years old, and i don't want a thug. I don't want a guy with a wrap sheet as long my arm. I don't want a guy who's idea of a job is running "street business". I need someone to explain to me the fascination with this mess.
    I wonder how these girls feel when they get caught up with some of these guys. Cuz in nyc, if there's a weapon (or drugs or anything illegal for that matter) in the house/apt. or on the premise, and you know its there, everybody goes down. Unless your thug, works somthign out where u don't. Who wants that lifestyle.
    And while i agree with the sarge guy, its never good to generalize. I'd be more incline ot agree, if he inserted the words, some, or alot. But he's not lying. This is what these young girls are attracted. I know it cuz these fools come to you as if i'm suppose to impress that u don't know where to wear your pants, or because you have a "reputation" that i'm just gonna fall over u.....please.
    What lauren said is dumb, but the reality is alot of young women think JUST like that. And its scary and sad all at the same time.
  • dblaq
    @ Anna
    That is my point exactly. The only choice you have to follow a crowd of people because the offer is right in your face. Of course I can try to work for McDonalds for $7 per hour after taxes, working 40 hrs. You still don't have enough to survive. Plus you have to go fill out applications, interviews, etc. at a young age for me I didn't know what to say or how to present myself outside the hood at the time. Even though I say it was circumstance but it was still a choice I made. Make $7 per hr x40 = $280 per week - taxes = 200 take home. Still not enough to make ends meet. Your homies present you with opportunities to make that in a day maybe just a few hours. To me at the time it was a no brainer, but was I being comfortable doing it. Never. I was afraid having a girlfriend because in the real "Gangsta" world majority of the time they don't hurt you they hurt the ones close to you because the pain is much more.
    Anyways if anybody claims they make millions in the street, you have more than opportunity to get out. Prodigy from Mobb Deep said in one of this songs "No matter how much money I get, I am staying in the projects" but yet when True Life robbed them in the studio they wonder why? Plus P is doing time now. Thats that for their rap career because they won't make it again.
    I know plenty of females that dated drug dealers and bragged about it as if it gives them street cred or something. One had a baby by this dude she told me that he gave $50K in case something happens, she drove all the latest benzes, gucci, prada all the shit. But one day the feds kicked their door down, took his ass in on a fed charge. They froze all of their assets even her $50K he gave her for the in "case something happens" took all of their ish. They put the pressure on her to say what ever she knew, she was under constant surveillance, nobody wanted her around because she was "hot". She had leave her place of residence and had nowhere to go but her Moms house. This girl was bad but within 1 year she looked like ish because of all the stress she lost like 40 lbs. Her boyfriend threatened her is she said anythign he would come for her then the feds told her if doesn't she will face hard time and baby will have no parents, etc.. I didn't feel sorry for at all, she got what she deserved. She was warned plenty of times, she taught it was funny! Well ask her now.
    You speak so well and so raw. I hope you are sharing your experience with all the knuckle heads out there. I am glad you got out. A mind is truely a terrible thing to waste. You should be on the governments payroll to go across america and speak in the schools. If a kid hears something first hand they are able to make different decisions. I am so tired of ppl glorifying(sp) a thugs life.
  • dblaq
    @ Anna
    Actually I don't really care on being a the governments payroll. :-( Me and my partner have a foundation that caters towards the inner city youth. We are doing free football camps where we have several NFL Players and coaches (this year we had 15) come in and teach them not only football but what it takes to become a successful part in society. We also give away scholarships right now its 2 per year for $2500 but our goal is to give one away every month and this year we are implementing a program with Deon Grant where he will sponsor all the kids that attend the camp ACT or SATs tests if they want to take it. Our objective is to offer opportunities for these kids that don't have any and if we can't provide it we will offer the resources so they can find someone that will. The website will be the access point for all the kids and the foundation. We have been doing this 5 years now. this year in May we were able to raise almost $30,000. So we try to do our part
    I am one who reads in between the lines. I knew you were a person who gives back. We need more like you. I would love to know your website address and do you take samll charitable donations. One reason I love Obama is because he was not coming at you(us) asking for big time donations. He had a website and if you could only give $1 or $5 it added up to millions for him to be able to contiune his campaign debt free. You keep doing what you do my brother. Your positvie attitude shines through your comments. You need to write a book. For me to take the time to read all the comments is not out of boredom(I have enough in my life to do). Taking the time to read each comment gives me an idea about the person behind the words. We had a huge apartment complex fire in my city due to a fire cracker. The damage is 120 homeless souls. Not one person died and only one minor injury. The fire victims left with only the clothes on their back. Cars caught on fire or exploded. There were 15 different fire trucks there and 85 fire fighters. Looking at the pics on the news, it looks like Beruit. Many ppl may not have a home to go to but I am sure they still have to go to work come Monday morning. I am taking a break from cleaning out my closet of things I don't wear and things I do wear. I work in a office and have plenty of office clothes for someone who can't take time off and "the man" still expects them to show up for to work. Purses that I collect but don't use, high heel shoes that you have to look professional at work to wear. You can make your own circumstances by choice but sometimes, shit happens and you have to humble yourself and accept help from others. People who lived through Katrina(which happened 3 years ago next month) are still struggling. My point is. I can feel their pain but don't live it. I can pray for them but unless I do something I am selfish. Through all my empathy and hurt for others, reading your comments made me smile. I needed to smile after hearing about some jackasss who thought it was ok to light a fire cracker on a balcony and it ended up on a roof top and caused homelessness to so many ppl. In my state anything that has to be lit to celebrate the 4th is illegal, only thing that is ok is sparklers. I know I am blessed. I know GOD is good all the time.
  • dblaq
    @ anna
    The website for our foundation is http://www.naviesfoundation.org. My partner played for the 49ers and retired this year. This actually the first year that we started taking donations the past four years we just paid for everything out of pocket. We just want it to be bigger and better so that we can offer a lot more to under privileged kids. you don't have to play football in order to qualify for the scholarship, you just have to proof that you work hard and want to get ahead. You can donate however much you like. We are definitely legit and we have been getting grants from the NFL for the past five years where they acutally wanted to integrate one of their programs with ours. thanks for your interest. I don't know about writing a book. I just like to do what I do, we don't have to be famous for it because it ain't about us, it was us being blessed to be able to do what we do today (me and my career as well as my partners football career), if it wasn't for certain people being behind us and believing in us we wouldn't be here today. So this is just a way for us to pass the torch. We just dudes that found our way, we are not preachers in anyway, we are just like everybody else that go to the club every ones in awhile, get a little toasted, look at some booty in the strip club here and there but the difference is that we know what matter and what value life holds. I guess that is our message to the young boys, that you can still party and have fun, make a lot of money legitmate no matter where you come from all you need is a clear mind. You gotta have substance and values, know the price of your actions, if can't afford or don't want to pay the price for it, then just don't do it! I been to jail and ever since I knew that was NOT the place for me in any shape or form. If any chick feels like that makes me soft than she can do the time because ain't NO P**y good enough for me spend a day in that concrete block unless it is family that is being violated.
    I am 41 years old and you just wow me. I appreicate how you express yourself. Thank you for giving me and the rest of the room your website address. I will sure check it out and hope there is a way that I can help. I can say that I am a sucker for a man with a passion, a man who not only has a dream but makes it happen. Your mother should be so proud. I don't know how old you are but age is only a number. Keep doing what you are doing and it is nice to have a man on this site to chat with. A man with an opinion, but also a man making sense. We on this site are a family and we sometmes bash a woman for wearing the wrong shoes or a certain dress. We do it in fun(I hope). I don't hide behind a keyboard and say things just to be mean or because I know how to type. I chat about the good the bad and the ugly, but I also chat about "reality". It's a cruel world out there and I know that I am the "get away from my parents" for teens who land on my door step. I do take the kids in, and call the parents and let them know where their child is. I keep them to "cool down" for a few days and find a way for them to reunite with their parent(s) on good terms. Why do I do what I do, I don't know. It is just a natural thing for me that I got use to. I did not sign up for it but My husband and I are happy to help.
    PS. My kids are the ones who have been bringing home stray kids with problems for many years now, everyone has problems but for my kids to step up and bring them home for us to meet, feed and go back home to their (blood) family is a blessing. The stray kids brought home are now older and stable. I am glad I get along with teens and pre teens. what would I do if my kids brought home stray animals? (insert smile). I would not be able to call their parents. LOL.
    I am only being myself. I think it is important to have people of substance and people to take action. Too many people just like to run their mouth and express their opinion but don't do a damn thing about it. And in my opinion the new generation is running around like wild animals without any guidelines. Everybody wants to be "somebody" and in the process they pimp themselves but not getting anything from it. Everything that is going on is a result of what we haven't been doing for the past decades. The chicks hoeing around, guys wanna be thugs, everybody is in search to be somebody or make a name for themselves like they are starving for attention and it could be that because we have no family structure anymore. Females let these thugs get them pregnant, then they wind up in jail, dead or the chick was just a jump off. Now she has to raise the kids herself no father, she don't know much of life, so the kids wind up being bad. Even though many black women feel they can raise their kids themselves but the reality they CAN'T. Half can't control them by the age of 14. So you have a bunch of wild ass kids with no values and standards about anything because they haven't been taught. I mean this is a topic that we can discuss for days.
    The same way how being gay is becoming the everyday thing. I personally don't care what people do. I just don't agree with it and I don't think it is ok to broadcast it like we do. The gay behavior has so increased and I just don't believe that everybody was on the low all this time, I believe that a lot of them do it by choice because right now that is the thing to do with songs like "My girl gotta girlfriend". I believe that many may be born that way, but I think that a lot of them just are influenced. I am making this a gay or not gay discussion but I strictly point that out that I believe that a broken home can influence kids in a lot of ways just like joining a gang and murdering for it. The only reason why this happens is because they are looking for role models or someone to turn too. 60% of parents suck ass in parenting. You have to be a friend to your kid and many black parents don't feel that way. That is when they create the Nu Nu's.
  • SMALONE
    Yeah...she's just don't know any better.her mom has'nt taught her to be a lady.but you can't change a leopard spots..i wish her all the luck in life..poor girl!
  • intensemocha
    What did you expect her to say? she wants a man like Colin Powell or Obama-she has to stay in her lane....she makes her living posing half nude in magazines & videos and is an aspiring actress-who claim to fame is more about her looks than it is about actual talent-it's about her image
    a thugs make a killing from their images-hell that's what the rap game is about nowadays niccas in studios creating images of a hard core thug-it's entertainment and she's in the entertainment industry-what's the earth shattering suprise?
  • intensemocha
    Sergeant Pete would sip this chicks bath water if she let em-he talking that rah rah sh$t cause he know he wouldn't stand a chance with her-his opinion of her really doesn't matter because to her he's not even relevant
    Dudes kill me always trying to get philosophical when it comes to women and how we should conduct and carry ourselves when they have been leaving their families (women & children) behind, going to prison, and continously commit crimes at a higher rate than any other race of males.
    News flash-there is a new breed of black women who refuse to be controlled by sexism -we have sex when we want and with whom we want and it doesn't have to be in a relationship (that's right we want a relationship but refuse to bend over backwards and jump through hoops to get it or keep it) We make our own money, graduate from college, have successful careers, all while taking care of the children.....
    so stop dangling a carrot in our face with all this rhetoric-if we act according to your expectations then you will one day love us
    guess what we are not holding our breaths...hell you act like you don't love or need us & the grass is greener on the other side-so be it
    what do you think happens to black women after years of doing everything by yourself? You adapt and adjust......
    keep your carrots we don't want or need em
    Zuley Says: Actually sweety I have no kids whatsoever. And I just don’t settle for any nigga please believe I’m far from ignorant don’t let the pretty face and model body fool you hun. A nigga would definitely have to be very well established financially for me to even think twice about talking to them let alone being a “babys mother”. I would never jeopardize my hard worked figure to have some dudes baby where I wouldn’t be comfortable for life. LOL too funny and too smart for that sorry.
    ~~~~was using the word n*gga really necessary???? could you express yourself without using that word???? all i can say is WOW!!!~~~~

    I also believe that there are ppl who were born gay. But then there are those who choose to be. Too many young kids are being left to take care of themselves. I am just glad that there are ppl like you that want to give them positive things to look forward to. I did view your website and was only able to donate $25 yesterday. Keep up the good work, these kids need to know there is hope.

    If Lauren did say this..this is no different from the numerous interviews where our beloved Monica has stated what kind of man she wants. So be mindful of those you preceive as “dumb” for wanting a hood brother when a lot of the industry chicks you big up are the same — Monica, Tiny, and the list goes on.

    I co-sign this.... MsShayinGA!!!!
