O.J. Simpson is finally getting what he deserves for murdering his ex-wife Nicole Brown and her boyfriend Ron Goldman in 1994:

Friday was a day for some justice to be done in the minds of people who think O.J. Simpson got away with two murders in 1994.

Simpson was sentenced in a Las Vegas court on Friday to more than 15 years in prison for his conviction on charges of armed robbery, kidnapping and assault in a 2007 incident.

He was was accused in a case that Simpson said involved his attempt to retrieve some sports memorabilia from people in a hotel room.

“I thought I was confronting friends,” Simpson said during Friday’s hearing. “I thought I was retrieving my things. I didn’t mean to hurt anybody and I didn’t mean to steal anything.”

But this time, Simpson’s pleading for leniency from the court didn’t work.

As Judge Jackie Glass said in response to Simpson’s pleading:

“You went to the room. You took guns. You used force. You took property, and in this state, that amounts to robbery with the use of a deadly weapon.”

In 1995 a jury acquitted Simpson of murdering ex-wife Nicole Brown Simpson and her friend, Ronald Goldman.  (Source)
