Today is the day that the U.S. Supreme courts hears the case against Barack Obama whose citizenship is the subject of heated debates on right wing blogs.

I’m surprised that a judge agreed to hear this case. And I am equally as surprised that Essence magazine — which is becoming more and more like a tabloid every day — wasted their ink writing about it.

There is so much about Obama that is in doubt, but his citizenship is not one of them.

Obama has a valid birth certificate on file in Honolulu, Hawaii where he was born. So even if the BC his aides released to the media is fake, that is a moot point.

I wish Obama would agree to release his valid birth certificate so these wacky conspiracy theorists can get a life.

Unless there is something on the birth certificate that he’s trying to hide ….
