Lil Kim Statement
Lil Kim’s attorney is going after an impersonator on Facebook who claims to be Lil Kim.
Apparently the impersonator posted something on Facebook. I haven’t seen whatever it is since I don’t go on there. But here’s the statement from her attorney:
“The statement posted up on Facebook was done by someone falsely portraying themselves to be Lil Kim and is completely untrue. They have been contacted to remove immediately or legal action will be taken,” says attorney for Lil Kim, Bernard H. Jackson III.

I was a big Lil Kim fan but I don’t give a eff what someone does regarding her anymore for her disprespecting Naturi like that for doing her job. Naturi looks HELLA better than her wanna be anything but black azz and for her to say that she is ugly and doesn’t have talent is just classless.
She would’ve been happier with Christina Milian….seriously China Kim? You think you look like Christina Milian? I’m surprised she didn’t say Pam Anderson since that’s who she’s trying to be.

Well I wish I knew what the statement was. And is the statement just wrong or is the Facebook page fake altogether? If it is her Facebook page then I ain’t buying the statement being fake whatever it is.

i disagree. i have got in touch with a whole lot of folks that i went to school with that i haven’t seen since i graduated in 1992 and we are having a little reunion in a few weeks.
All my friends from each and every circle (church, high school, work, college etc) stay bugging me about getting a facebook. I thought that was for college folks dont grown folks with bills and what not.

The statement was on Necole ****ie the other day:
“I feel like I was not portrayed how I should have been in this movie. I was in love with BIG and he was in love with me. I was never a JUMP-OFF, I know this and BIG knew this. I wasn’t even able to choose who I wanted to portray me in this movie. I would have never picked Naturi, she doesn’t have a Lil Kim aura at all! She looks nothing like I looked back then. We have NO similarities. Watching her on-screen was so “dreadful” as Simon Cowell would say. She is tasteless and talentless. Never once did she contact me for input or to get a feel of me for the character. A “TRUE” actress would contact the source to be the best they can be in portraying someone. That told me right there, she wasn’t right for the part and not to mention, Naturi has got to be one of THE worst actresses I’ve ever seen and I can’t believe they chose her. I really can’t!
Another thing is, I have been dealing with legal matters as far as them not wanting to pay me and sh*t for this movie, got a lawyer involved, so everything is cool with that, but it still doesn’t change my views and feelings. This is truly Faith and Ms. Wallace’s movie. And Ms. Wallace is right, this isn’t a Lil’ Kim movie and it’s not about me. I didn’t want it to be about me, I wanted it to be REAL though. And that it is NOT. I take no part in this movie and have nothing to do with it. I love BIG and will never stop reppin him. There is NOTHING anyone can do about it. The world will see the Lil Kim story, THE REAL ME! Not some made up bull**** portrayed by a talentless has-been back up singer.”

Facebook is no different for grown folks with bills than Sandra Rose is for grown folks with bills. Just like we get on her and converse with each other, Facebook is the same. Anywhoo I feel you Shauny about how Lil Kim came at Naturi. She could have said the same thing in a much more respectful way. But she is Lil Kim and when has she every done something with class or something that shows respect to herself or any woman for that fact.
I don’t know Kim personally but from what I see on t.v and cd’s I think Naturi did a good job portryaing her.

Facebook just looks generic to me.
Everyone I know has a Facebook, a Myspace or both. I have never had a desire to set either up. Someone is always telling me to look at someones page on Myspace but if it’s marked private I can’t because I’m not a member. Alot of people say they have found long lost folks through both sites so I guess it works for some people.

Yeah I was the same way until I actually got on it. I have hooked up with many high school and college friends. It is also a good way for my current friends and I to communicate throughout the day when we are at work and can’t get to a phone to talk or text.

She should take the comment and run with it and generate some money. Now is the best time to come out with a book. If it does well she has nothing to loose (I’m sure she will generate some money). If it does badly she still has nothing to loose she told her story. Use this time now kim.. Then after the book you can drop an album (chuckles).

What else, they get a reality show.
If she signed off on the book we all know that she had no say in how she was going to be portrayed. Why would Naturi come to her for any suggestions or advice when she basically said give me my money screw yall and I’m keeping it moving. No need to complain about it now.
