Throwback Fridays: T.D. Jakes – Fight Back

Many single women complain that there are no available men. When, in reality there are plenty of available men that women pass by in their pursuit of thugs. Some of you just need to lower your unrealistic standards a little bit.

On the other hand, some of you should elevate your standards drastically. It’s a shame that there women out here fighting other women for a no good dog who doesn’t want either one of them. The devil sure is busy in our community.

SR or anyone know if there’s any validity to the TD gay rumors that are ultra rampant? Not that there’s anything wrong with that, aside from his position….

Those gay rumors about Bishop have been circulating for years…I pay it no mind, cause whatever that man is that’s between him and his God…nowadays (let some folks tell it) any and everybody is gay or on the DL!

This is my first time hearing about the gay rumor about TD Jakes and I live in dallas, now there are some gay preachers in my area Im just gonna leave it at that.

Some standards aren’t that too unrealistic. There is just a shortage of men period. People just need to stop looking. I did and right when I really stopped looking I found the one. For 4 years I was on the hunt! And I didn’t have high standards, I only had 5.

Pink, I agree. The same thing happened to me. Now I was young when I was looking so I may have been searching for something that wasn’t right, but regardless once I stopped looking it happened. I have given that advice to lots of my friends who are “looking”.

A relationship will come at the right time. No need to look. I had commited to the fact that I would never be in a relationship again in my life. Let’s just say God will let you see what you say you aren’t going to do.

No one is perfect.
Men and Women need a partner not a parasite.
A parasite will reveal him or herself quickly just keep your eyes open – I had my fair share of parasites.

***gives Shunda a high-five*** TRUESTORY…I don’t know how many women I know are in a relationship JUST to say they are in a relationship.

Everything comes in due time ladies…you just have to be smart, reasonable, and remember patience is a virtue. I don’t buy into the “ni99az ain’t shyyt” theory, I know too many good men who are holding down a household and their woman to even attempt thinking that way (my Daddy included).

Now I do think some men got alot of b.s. with them…but hey the same can be said for some females too!!! There aren’t too many geniune people walking around…point…blank…period.

I agree with alot of what everyone says….so i won’t repeat much. Agreeing with kym, Mz_Magnificent1, and shunday, and anyoen else who echoes what they said.

If it happens for me……thanks god. And if it doesn’t, I’m cool with that too. Alot of women are eager to have someone cuz they think it validates…..and its really a shame.

Ladies I am happy as well and have great friends and family but im not gonna front that I wouldnt love to be in a healthy loving relationship that could possibly lead to marriage. That does not mean I am desparate or pressed or what have you it means I am open to a relationship when the right man comes along. Until that time comes I will continue living my life like its Golden and traveling the world!

T.D. Jacks is a fraud. I remember seeing him on MSNBC on election night talking about McCain could win and then he was interrupted in mid sentence with the breaking news that Obama had won Ohio. He looked so mad all I could think of was that this man is the Devil. Do people ever think about why he was one of the main black’s that bush called on to help him race issue such as Katrina.
