Beyoncé and company lip synced their way through this number during the 81st Annual Academy Awards last night. Madonna’s “Material Girl” video was much better than this rip off.

She doesn’t have to be in EVERYTHING. She is so NOT Broadway. But she does have some entertainment value for those who enjoy her presence 24/7. To each his/her own. I guess.

I for one didn’t watch this crap. And from the looks of it, I didn’t miss much. Maybe I am salty that Taraji nor Viola received an award. Has anyone seen Slumdog Millionaire?

I was giving Hugh kudos until this performance..it mad no dam sense, bey was lipsynching (noticeable when the couple from hsm started singing, bey’s mouth was moving but no sound) & it was just a chaotic mess. There are plenty of great singers in the broadway biz they could have used instead of bey..she just looked out of place.

And don’t get me started on that red carpet dress..I gotta call my grandma and tell her I found her drapes.

@Jazi..lol Yes the drapes were all on the red carpet last night. This had to the the worse year in recent history. I mean even Halle had an off night. Not a good look for the dresses.

i also think bey red carpet dress would have been nice in all black , but of course mama tina had to make it look like a flowerbed . those flowers are killing me .

i dont think she was out of place, i think her dress, lip syncing and makeup on stage weree a mess. as if they just threw it all together in a matter of minutes….very disappointed B.

Shyt is wack as phuck! Why was beyonce even in it? She seem out of place, plus what was up with the lipsynching?!? She’s done performance were she was shaking like jello and sung live, and here she was basically standing still, and couldn’t sing live? That shyt was wack and corny as hell! Glad i didn’t watch this whole thing last night…
