Obama says the U.S. is “one of the largest Muslim countries in the world”
Wow, I just learned something new today. I didn’t know that the U.S. was one of the largest Muslim countries in the world, did you?
This is according to Barack Hussein Obama, who sat down for several interviews before leaving for his mission trip to the Middle East:
As President Obama prepared to leave Washington to fly to the Middle East, he conducted several television and radio interviews at the White House to frame the goals for a five-day trip, including the highly-anticipated speech Thursday at Cairo University in Egypt.
In an interview with Laura Haim on Canal Plus, a French television station, Mr. Obama noted that the United States also could be considered as “one of the largest Muslim countries in the world.” [link]
By the way, expect much bowing and scraping and anti-Americanism from Obama while he’s in the Middle East.

Sandra, I’m confused on Obama’s motives in bending over to embrace the muslim nations. We weren’t greatly hostile towards them before (it was blown out of proportion after 9/11). Still, the muslim nations (Dubai, Saudi Arabia) own as much of the U.S. as China. Is this a political move or is it personal?
BTW, I read an article yesterday on ABC News website about Obama being more open about his muslim roots since he’s been elected (as opposed to when he was campaigning).

This is done to prevent us from getting together and over throwing our governments. If we are fighting each other- we can’t fight them. Prison gaurds do it to inmates. I’m neither for/against Obama, I merely said in several posts that i’m not impressed with anything he has done thus far. So i’m thinking it will be the same 3-5 reasons if you ask people why Obama’s the man or what changes (for the good) he has made that CHANGED their lives. And again, if McCain were in office, I doubt seriously so many people would be on board for so many of the same things we’re witnessing now.

My earlier comments weren’t pro or con Obama. We were talking about Muslim takeover … not China or who owes the USA the most money. Yet some loud-mouth comes spouting how ignorant I am and I’m a republican. It’s the same mentality as the people who voted Bush in because of religion. Most Blacks voted for Obama because he’s Black and they can’t justify any other reason.
Yeah, I exploded because I’m tired of seeing the same loud-mouth on this blog acting as if Obama’s god (her’s maybe). Everything is not pro or con Obama. And, it’s unfortunate some people can think independently.

Obama himself lied and said his father was an agnostic or an atheist click here. He denied his religious ties to Islam until it became convenient for him to do so. Now all of a sudden he wants the world to know his father was a Muslim. Obama is the biggest hypocrite in Washington.
