Behind the Scenes: Drake Video Lead Girl
At first I declined to post these pics of Drake’s lead girl, Sophia Marie, in his upcoming video. But I often forget that a variety of readers come to my blog and they are not all like me — sick and tired of seeing the same boring type of chick posted up in every video. So these pics are for the few of you who appreciate these LSLH video chicks.

My boy was on set this past weekend at Drake’s Best I Ever Had video and my homegirl Sophia Marie from Brooklyn was one of the leads in that video can you please post her? She’s the nicest most sweetest girl you will ever come across and I’m so happy her modeling career is finally taking off. She’s not like these other video chicks she actually is enrolled in Med school studying to be a doctor.

Somebody let Zuley know her girl is still a video model med school or not. Plenty of other video models (is this really considered modeling now?) are in somebodys school as well. I didn’t see all of it but enough to know that Vanessa and Angela need to think outside the box. How was their backyard going to accomodate 200-250 ppl. How were they going to cover the pool with clear glass and make it a dance floor at a cost of almost $10,000 not to mention I was worried about it breaking.
Ice runs house was an hour so I missed Gotti heard it wasn’t that good though

I don’t know nah Isc…….I think he’s pretty hot (raps wise)…..People say he rap like Wayne, but he doesn’t…to me……….he’s got his own swag and he actually puts effort into his rhymes…(lyrical content is on point and makes sense)….If you’re into that type of thing that is you would be impressed. I’m not so sure reverse discrimination is the answer to the LSLH video girl phenom. Anyway, I think this young lady is very impressive not because of her looks but because she is a med school student. Later for modeling. Unless Drake is a 7 footer it looks like she is too short to be a real model anyway. I hope she is not aspiring to do booty shots in raunchy men’s mags. Get that degree and keep it moving. Doctors make more money anyway.

Totally off topic. Some of yall know The Bird got laid off a few months back. In the current economy I’ve given up on the executive admin field as it is far to competitive. So I am going for my chauffeur’s license because baby daddy was able to hook me up with a gig with his former employer. So why when I called New Jersey Motor Vehicles the dumb broad on the phone not only didn’t know how to spell my very common first name but also asked me how to spell University and asked me if Charlotte started with an SH or a CH? WTF???
I would be more impress if she was a med student working at retail store. Seems like all these video chicks are law student or wateva. Am i suppose to be impress?

drake both raps & sings. that’s actually him singing the ‘best i ever had’ hook. y’all might be tired of hearing that he’s ‘dope.’ but his mixtape is FREE for download so it’s worth a listen. i’ve been bumping it like it’s an album that i really paid for since march.
i don’t care about LSLH; black is black to me. but i will say that i love the “halle berry” video simply because it highlights the beauty and diversity of black women. no one is ethnically ambiguous (the chicks come in all shades of brown) and the main chicks have bodies (no wafer thin girls or implants welcomed at that shoot). the song is definitely fruit-snack rap…but the video makes me like/appreciate the song ♥

I have a friend whose daughter is DS and she has a very hard time with her daughter because of her skin color. She thinks everything light is pretty. She asks her mother about getting her skin lightened. Its sad because she is only 10 or 11.

Best believe she was behind Phat Farm. She was already Karl Lagerfield top model and knew the fashion industry. He had money in 92 granted but that empire was vastly expanded during thier marraige in large part due to the fashion aspect of phat farm which he admits she is responsible for
