Michael Jackson’s older brother Jermaine Jackson, the original lead singer of the Jackson 5, speak with CNN’s Larry King at Neverland Ranch. Plans to bury Michael at Neverland were canceled due to a California law that prohibits burials on private land.
VIDS 2 & 3 of PART 1 after the break
Thanks Sandra, most of your “loyal readers” did’nt get a chance to see the interview. It takes alot to impress me and this interview went way beyond it for me. Larry did a great job along with Jermain and the Brando’s offspring. I have a new assistant at work and he came in yesterday with his laptop and played Mikes videos. He is only 23 and I had to school him. He only knows of Mikes troubles durining the last plus decade. Ppl who were never Mike fans get to see the Mike I grew up with.
thx.i think it’s sad that we begin to appreciate people more after they’re gone. i’m listening to larry say “i never knew or would’ve imagined this.” it rings to mind ‘never judge a book by its cover.’ the media only would show the part of the house with the big ferris wheel and rides, so folks on the outside looking like MJ is crazy as hell all those years. Now you get a look inside and hear about all he did for underpriviledged and ailing kids.
I get the impression it was the placed youd forget about all ur troubles. neverland.
I never thought he was crazy due to Neverland but I did give him the sideye for other reasons over the years the same as everybody else. I always felt Neverland was a great investment.
Dang I’m mad I can’t see the video…and Larry King doesn’t have it up yet…

Meh
Michael was good 77 and on =)
Isc – when/if you’re on today. I finally read the stuff Quincy Jones said. I think the no true friend would come off that way. I saw this Uri guy who was supposed to be one of Mikes close friends and he answered some questions but one some questions he was like I’m not answering that.
Quincy was only saying what he thought and not what Mike told him so that made it even worse.

Ok Charles, since “Meh” is coming from you I take it to not be a good thing. LOL. I have seen it on other sites and don’t know what it means. If it’s bad you can save the meaning of it until Monday. I am enjoying my 3 day long weekend so far and don’t want it ruined.
Shauny- I think Quincy was saying both what he knew and what he thought and I think he considered MJ a true friend and vice versa.
Anna…meh is like what Bart Simpson says…like “Meh…who cares” or “Meh…I’m bored. It’s mostly used to express apathy
@ Shauny
When I made my comments yesterday I honestly hadn’t read his interview yet. I made them out of anger. After I read it, I was happy about everything I said. He sounded like a bitter jealous man. I’m not sure what happened to them over the years. But I’m sure it had something to do with money. Just like Sir Paul. They can sling all the insults they want but Mike was a great business man. Can’t hate on that.
Exactly iscream. And I don’t think that what he said was cool. I really feel like we have all this time to dig in his closet, why can’t we just honor this man right now. He’s not even in the ground yet for God’s Sake.
And besides that who in the hell is Quincy to say that Michael didn’t like being Black. Negro’s almost all of your 25 kids are MUTTS! So what does that say about you Quincy? We all have our demons and crap that we have to deal with so who the hell is Quincy.
I’m tired of everyone talking crap. The people that seemed to really be there for him keep saying look I’m not getting into that at this time. Let’s focus on his accomplishments right now.
That is the respectful thing to do for the family and for people who are really hurting about his death.

Thanks. see it’s not as bad as I thought. Bart was a rude mess. A few years ago I was able to watch “The Simpsons with my kids. Bart was too rude to watch while my kids were growing up. Now we watch together and laugh.
