No Tears
A British tabloid is questioning the authenticity of little Paris Michael Katherine Jackson’s mournful dry eyed tribute to her guardian, Michael Jackson during his public memorial at the Staples Center yesterday.
Britain’s The SUN newspaper accused the Jackson family of pushing little Paris in front of the microphone after she was forced to live her entire life behind a veil.
Taking children to a funeral is one of the most difficult decisions a parent will ever have to make.
But the King of Pop’s young daughter speaking as the climax of the memorial just wasn’t right.
Paris didn’t look comfortable and more importantly, capable, of doing it.
As the family gathered on stage I was surprised to see the children being paraded in front of a gold coffin holding the remains of their beloved father.
Then, as JANET Jackson struggled to lower the mic stand for her niece’s tiny frame, I just couldn’t believe my eyes.
Apparently, The SUN wasn’t impressed with the sobbing Paris crying a river of air. The rag even went so far as to label the entire event a “macabre circus.”
Though we here at sandrarose.com are inclined to agree that tearless crying is a mite suspicious — even we are willing to give the kid a break.

The Sun, like Faux News is owned by Rupert Murdoch, so that says a lot about their credibility. Seems somebody over there just had to rain on this parade.
I’ve lost relatives I’m very, very close to and can’t remember shedding a tear. I’m not insensitive, I just express my grief in celebrating their life. Bet The Sun would consider me fake too but I don’t give a fake British newspaper’s rat’s arse if they did…and I’ve got British in the family so they could say what they want!

There is such a thing as being “all cried out”. It has been almost two weeks. The body can cry for days and then all the sudden “no tears”, but the emotion is always there.
I immediately thought her speaking was a bit forced but doesn’t mean it was fake.

OMG… The child lost her “only parent”….
It sadden me that these innocent kids have been lied on, talked about and torn to pieces by the media. First of all, who gives anybody the right to say somebody is not there daddy? The last time I check any man can make a baby but it Takes a good strong man to raise one. So on that note, to anybody who speaks ill my God have mercy on your soul. A father and a dad is the person who raise you. A sperm donor bails out and leaves his kids high and dry. So if Michael isn’t there blood father, who gives a f**k. He is the one who took care of them while through, there sickness and in health. He is the one who stayed around while the money hungry mother traded her kids for riches.
Do you know how many people even on this blog that probably was raised by there stepdad. There mom got remarried and there dad bailed out, it was no way you could tell them the man that they saw everyday. The man who was there when they needed him, the man that guided them to adult hood is not there father. It’s nobody’s right nor business where the sperm came from, those are very much his kids. A father is more than a lying down and making a baby. Being a father and a dad start after the baby is born until you see them off into adult hood. I very disappointed in you Sandra–I know you write certain stuff cuz this your blog. But are you that heartless? As a black woman and I don’t care how many times Mike bleached his skin, the one thing that we will do is protect our kids. Just like your mother protected you so I think you calling his kids. How do we know Michael told his kids how they were conceived, what gives us the right to even bring this up. He raise those babies, isn’t that what matters most??? Now they will have a question in there mind about this and it’s sad because we had no right to bring it up. I mean the white media slammed him to, however as a community I think the one thing we should all want is what’s best for the kids no matter what there skin color is.
Every interview Ice Cube does they ask him how many kids he has and he say’s four and they said you mean three and he said no I have four kids. My wife had a son when I married her but he is my son to, I’ve raised him from the time he was two and that my son it doesn’t matter about blood.
And even though I can’t stand Puffy he claims Qunicy when he looks just like AL B Sure because he was a little baby when him and Kim hooked and he raised him. (although he skips his little cutie chance another blog rant) And how Rev Run three oldest kids all call Justine Momma and love her and consider her there mom cuz she raised them not there mother. So at the end of the day blood means nothing look at Keyshia Cole and how she was abandon by her mom for crack and Ms Cole stepped in and raised her. So Michael is there real dad because blood don’t mean nothing, if you skipping out on you duties.
Anyway my long rant is over, sorry for the bible I’ve just been really upset about these kids having to now know this about Michael. And Sandra I love your blog but for me and my blog–I’ll skip out on writing certain things because if you don’t stand for something you’ll fall for everything and I refuse to let this industry take my soul like it’s done to so many others.

I have no doubt she was extremely nervous and didn’t know how to act. I think her anquish was real whether she was crying or not. Watching her during the rest of the ceremony, she seemed to be enjoying the salute to her dad. I think she’s proud of him and had a ball singing We Are The World. It was just hard for her to speak. What’s the big deal?
