Now RHOA Lisa Wu Loses Her Home Too
Last year it was NeNe Leakes and her bogus real estate guru husband Greg. This year it was faux fashion designer wannabe, Sheree Whitfield, and now it’s Lisa Wu’s turn to face reality after faking prosperity on a fake reality show.
According to TMZ.com, Lisa Wu Hartwell and her husband, former Oakland Raiders linebacker Edgerton Hartwell, lost their multi-million dollar Duluth home to foreclosure.
Apparently, the Hartwells got into their home using one of those creative financing deals that were so popular years ago when the housing market was booming. But then the housing bubble burst and the Hartwells were forced to plead with their mortgage lender to restructure the deal. But if they read the AJC business section (since they’re all up in it) then they should have known that bankers aren’t trying to hear that these days: they want their money.
The Hartwells bought the plush mansion for $2.9 mil in 2007, but the bank lost a cool mil when it was resold this month for $1.9 mil. So the Hartwells have now moved on to much smaller rental digs, and hopefully Ed is looking for a job to help pay the rent or we’ll be talking about them again when they get evicted.

Well call me Ms Cleo cause I just told my classmates last night as they were going on and on about Lisa being the only one to have “real” money I wouldnt be so sure about that lol I can’t wait until I have class again I feel an I told you so in my spirit right about now
So why was she acting like she didn’t want Ed to play, when clearly they NEEDED Ed to play? It takes a while before you get into foreclosure, sure hope they paid cash for those cars. I guess she’ll drop the custody case with Keith Sweat…
Damn, this economy is killing people ESPECIALLY realators and mortgage brokers…..with Ed out of work, Im sure Lisa opted to move into a home that could be afforded on a fixed income, I don’t blame them, they did what they had to do….Im not going to trash them for that.

yea especially since Lisa tried to work, she was the most independent housewife on the show. NOBODY ELSE EVEN HAD A FUKKING JOB, before Kandi came along, so BRAVO Lisa, you had a good run, there is nothing wrong with regrouping. She probably hasn’t sold a house in a while….commission aint what it used to be with houses going for a “milli” less than what they were brought for….poor thang, they didn’t even get any equity outta that house. If they would’ve made the show about the REAL everyday lives of these women then the money issues wouldn’t be a big of deal as it is.

According to the bank documents this was a short sale not a foreclosure. There is a difference. I just thank God I am still in my home. This economy is jacked up.
