RiRi strutted her stuff wearing ripped white painter’s jeans, white flats, denim stone washed cropped jacket and a pair of Tom Ford shades to block out the multiple flashes from the many paparazzi waiting outside! She doesn’t look depressed to me.

Chris Matthews: “Barack is now the last Kennedy brother”
MSNBC’s resident queen Chris Matthews continues his shameless drooling obsession with the heterosexual Barack Obama. On MSNBC’s Today Show this morning, anchorwoman Ann Curry asked Matthews “where does Ted Kennedy fit in with the Kennedy brothers?” A simple enough question.
The ever fawning Matthews responded that Ted Kennedy, who died of brain cancer, “turned that torch over last year to Barack Obama. Barack’s now the last [Kennedy] brother.”
Never mind that Barack Obama had nothing to do with Curry’s question. Obama might need to take out a restraining order on Matthews, who once famously said he feels a “tingling sensation” down his leg whenever he thinks about Obama.
Jay Z Covers XXL Magazine
Rapper Jay Z covers the most recent issue of XXl magazine, according to a loyal reader who sent this cover. This reminds me that I promised another loyal reader to post the definition of a narcissist:
According to The Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM), narcissism is defined as “a pervasive pattern of grandiosity, need for admiration, and a lack of empathy.”
The narcissist is described as turning inward for gratification rather than depending on others and as being excessively preoccupied with issues of personal adequacy, power, and prestige. Narcissistic personality disorder is closely linked to self-centeredness. It is also colloquially referred to as “the God complex.”
True narcissists (like Barack Obama, Jay Z, Jermaine Dupri and Sean Combs, for example) will display 5 or more of the following behaviors and character traits:
- Has a grandiose sense of self-importance
- Requires excessive admiration
- Has a sense of entitlement
- Is interpersonally exploitative
- Lacks empathy
- Is often envious of others or believes others are envious of him or her
- Shows arrogant, haughty behaviors or attitudes
- Is preoccupied with fantasies of unlimited success, power, brilliance, beauty or ideal love (megalomania)
- Believes they are “special” and can only be understood by, or should associate with, people (or institutions) who are also “special” or of high status
Just about all celebrities, and people who seek the limelight tend to be narcissistic to some degree.
Update: Another Dumb Rapper Gets Locked Up

Rapper Juelz Santana is accused of threatening his girlfriend with a knife in his New Jersey home.
Teaneck police charged Santana, whose real name is LaRon James, with making terroristic threats and possessing a weapon. He’s free on $5,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in Municipal Court on Sept. 9.
Capt. Dean Kazinci says Santana’s girlfriend told police a verbal dispute became physical Tuesday.
Kazinci says the rapper told officers the woman was the aggressor and she had the knife.
Police say the girlfriend, whose name was not released, had minor injuries that did not require medical treatment. Source
No Health Care Bill Before Christmas
According to Sen. Russ Feingold, a Democrat, the health care bill will not be passed before Christmas, and maybe not at all.
Speaking before a large crowd inside the Mercer County Community Center in Iron County, Wisconsin, Senator Feingold said the health care bill might not pass at all.
“Nobody is going to bring a bill before Christmas, and maybe not even then, if this ever happens,” Feingold said. “The divisions are so deep. I never seen anything like that,” he said referring to the rift between the GOP, the blue dog Democrats and the Dems who want the bill passed.
“We’re headed in the direction of doing absolutely nothing, and I think that’s unfortunate,” he said when asked about the plight of uninsured Americans.
