Trailer: Michael Jackson - This Is It
Sony Pictures released the trailer to the much-anticipated Michael jackson movie This Is It which opens in theaters October 28 for a two week run. I got goosebumps from watching this trailer.

That concert was going to be one of his best concerts EVER! dang it michael if your were gonna come to the states I was gonna spend my savings just to see you….

Just watching the trailer the first 4 times was enought to make me laugh, smile, cry (insert emotion here).
Such a talent caught up in the wordly way of things. Part of me wishes he would have continue to delve into his religion vs. the BS he ended up in.

We’ve seen so much footage of MJ since his death I think the trailer was enough for me. I won’t be helping AIG and Sony make more money from this mans death. I hope his kids get some percentage of this films money.

@mia… you have a point and I think the kids do get some profit from this movie.. I think they were in litigation about it if I’m not mistaken.
He looks really frail in the vids, but he moved like the old Mike…sad to see how it all ended up.
aig sold the rights to the movie for 60 million after that 60 million the family gets 90% of the profits it was widely publicized when sony bought the rights. i dont think its exploitation because millions of people wanna see this footage including me because its a concert we would not see otherwise if they just sat on the footage
No it wouldn’t be exploitation if they were sharing the footage like on a special MJ thing on TV or something. Even cable hell. But this…this is going to be in the theaters for 2 weeks only. I bet the ticket prices are going to be ridiculous. Watch!! That’s where the exploitation will come in.
why do tickets go on sale september 27th? That’s strange. I guess they want to see how fast they can sell them ie. 30 shows turned into 50.

because he was the king of pop and that shyt will sell out fast.. I feel you on the “10 (allegedly) to 50″ though…ya’ll made a good point.. if the tix are affordable.. I’m DEF taking the animaniacs.. ALL 3 LOVE MJ!! ( have on my shirt now and 2 yr old knows him by SIGHT..SMH) If not.. we’ll be watching him at home bootleg 10/29…sorry Prince, Paris and Lil prince…*shrug* it’s a recession.
side note- my children know his ENTIRE catalog! BEFORE HE DIED!! Now THAT’s star power!
