Chris Brown On Larry King: ‘I’m Like, Wow’

Chris Brown is an idiot — and so is everybody in his camp for allowing him to go on Larry King Live totally unprepared to come clean about what he did. This boy is clearly not remorseful for the acts that have derailed his career.

Instead of showing remorse, he pretends not to remember slapping, punching or biting Rihanna in the early hours of Feb. 8. When Brown called Rihanna’s assistant Melissa on her cell phone that night — it was to ask her if Rihanna had called the police on him. He didn’t even ask how Rihanna was doing!

On the Larry King Show pre-taping, when his enabler mom Joyce reminds Brown that he told her all the details of what happened that night back in February, Chris goes, “gosh, I’m like wow, gee willickers… did I do thaaaat?”

I’m disappointed in Larry King for catering to this nonsense. The question remains: why DID Chris Brown go on Larry king Live if all he was going to do was sit up there and tell lies?

There have been reports on the internet that I didn’t remember what happened that night with Rihanna. I want to try and set things straight.

That 30 seconds of the interview they used of me was taken from a one hour interview during which that same question was asked something like 4 or 5 times — and when you look at the entire interview you will see it is not representative of what I said.

The first four times – or how ever many times it was – I gave the same answer — which was that I didn’t think it was appropriate for me to talk about what happened that night. I said it was not right for me and it really wasn’t fair to Rihanna. The fifth time – or whatever it was – I just misspoke. I was asked, “Do you remember doing it?” and I said, “No.”

Of course I remember what happened. Several times during the interview, my mother said that I came to her right afterwards and told her everything. But it was and still is a blur. And yes, I still can’t believe it happened because it is not me or who I am or is what happened like anything I have ever done before.

As I have said several times previously, I am ashamed of and sorry for what happened that night and I wish I could relive that moment and change things, but I can’t. I take full responsibility for my actions. What I have to do now is to prove to the world that this was an isolated incident and that is not who I am and I intend to do so by my behavior now and in the future.”

His mom is not an enabler she is NOT co signing his actions. She is supporting her son through a terrible mistake and I pray she is making sure he is getting the help he needs. She has been a REAL VICTIM of DV for years in the past unlike Riahnna. To attack her is really low even for you Sandra SMH

As for his interview..str8t up bullch***. And why did it have to be taped? Why not live so we could see his reactions to the questions. And why does he keep saying he wants to prove he can be a role model again? What he needs to prove is that he has learned from this (through counseling) before trying to be an example for anybody else.

I have to agree I don’t see the reason to go on the show now either. One its already after the fact. You have been sentenced. Two you’re not ready (nor should you have to) come clean. Three you don’t even have an album out right now to promote.

Usually people speak up for themselves as soon as something happens. This was so long ago. Just let it go and move on with your life. Rhianna is photoed everyday doing her. She isn’t sitting around harping on the ordeal (in the public eye), Giving interviews. Let it go already… we get it, you made a mistake.

@ice CB has moved on with his life as well just because he granted an interview that we ALL knew was coming sooner than later doesnt mean he hasnt moved on per say. He is photod out at the mall, studio, skating rings and clubs. I think he wants ppl to know he isn’t the “monster” the media made him out to be after this one isolated incident where he clearly messed up.

@isc forgot to add he did speak up after this happened he released a written statement months ago and ppl felt that wasnt enough either so he cant please ppl no matter what he does or doesnt do therefore he needs to get help while continuing to work on his new cd and get back to his life as an artist. He has to realize that no matter what he says or doesnt say some ppl have written him off for good and that is ok worry about the fans you have left and keep it moving.

Why all this pre-airing talk? There is really nothing to talk about until the interview airs. Chris didn’t need to speak on the “snippet” either. People are going to watch and get the full picture on Wednesday. The interview I want to see is with him and Rihanna together. I still believe that is the only way for him to get his career back. And I still believe his handlers are idiots.
