A 2-year-old is in a Memphis hospital in extreme critical condition after he was pulled out of a burning house in Memphis earlier today. The toddler’s 3-year-old brother was also pulled from the burning house but, later died from smoke inhalation. The children were left alone by their mother and aunt who left to drop off a friend.
The children’s aunt, Marilyn Wilson, said she had no regrets about leaving the children home alone. “I really need to get in there to see if my purse burned up. I had my Food Stamp Card and everything in there.”
No charges have been filed against the mother yet.
This is more evidence that birth control or forced abortions should be mandatory in the hood. Hoodrats who lack the common sense of a housefly or can’t afford to put food on the table, should not give birth to children.

…I grew up in “the hood.” My mother, at several points in her life, was on public assistance because she was raising 3 children by herself until my daddy stepped up and became the family man he is today. I am diabetic and my sister has asthma and we were CONSTANTLY in and out the hospital, and my mother lost dozens of jobs since she was trying to work and take care of us.
See, my mother used the system as a TEMPORARY stepping stone until she was able to do it on her own. So, though we were hood-dwellers and on foodstamps - you can’t paint the whole issue with such an “abort the babies and force birth control” mentality. It’s ignorant and doesn’t apply to everyone in the “hood.”

I need a update on this. Has anyone ever let someone take them home knowing there are two babies who will be home alone. Where did they drop the friend off, at a crack house and they all went in and it seemed less of a risk to leave the babies home then leave them in a visable car or taking them in a crack house. I saw the vid minus the sound. What you described of “she giggled”, sounds like she is on drugs.

unfortunately i heard a story on cnn about mother who left her kids alone. When she came back one died…she put the kid in the trash…and reported the kid missing. As it turns out, she had other kids in the house…and they were all malnourished. They found one kid under the bed, and the sheriff said, that they got there just in time to save that one cuz as soon as they pulled her out from under the bed….the child open her eyes….smh
