Another Dumb Rapper Gets Locked Up
If you’re a gambler, the one sure thing you can bet on is a rapper will get himself arrested or locked up for at least a year.
Yesterday it was Gucci Mane’s turn. Sources say the rapper, real name Radric Davis, was cuffed on Thursday for violating the terms of his probation after he paid a visit to his parole officer and was informed that he failed a random drug test.
That’s the way it goes. These guys know the rules: they can be ordered to take a urine test at any time with no advance warning.
A judge revoked Gucci Mane’s probation and he is back in prison serving out his sentence. Gucci was also arrested in 2005 for hitting a club promoter with a pool cue. He received a 12 month sentence last September for failing to comply with his court-ordered 600 hours of community service in that case.
Gucci is expected to be released from prison in May — the same month rapper T.I. comes home from the federal pen in Arkansas.

Love Gucci, I thought he was getting his life together. He was just starting to get some main stream exposure too. Hopefully he’ll get his priorities straight while he’s in there.
i don;t know any of his actual songs. just the ones where he is featured on other people’s records. so i won’t miss him. i wish these folks would stay off drugs and out of trouble when they have so many opportunities as stars.
